My Poppet is a (lazy) genius! Before we get to the point- my babies (3 of) sleep in my bed with me (of course I got a malm ikea bed, so they can get on and off safely- not that they're spoiled:rolleyes: ) with a pee pad by the door incase wee poppet gets caught off guard, and the water dish and beds in their area (which is a bigger area than mine- again, not spoiled!! Lol) While getting ready for bed Kuki and kitty were already ready to sleep, but Poppet (16 weeks) was playing in the corner. I had my back to her, when I heard a Terrible noise; it sounded like gargling- like she was drowning!! Confused and panicked I went over, only to discover her standing beside the water bowl- which is quite deep- with a soaking face and the most smug look I've ever seen! Turns out this morning she put the raw hide chew shes been unsuccessfully battling with for a week now Into the water bowl to soak! She has beaten rawhide chews! I know what your thinking, it was a fluke? That's what I thought... I took her soggy one off her and gave her a dry one. She chewed it for a minute, then straight into the water bowl! This puppy is too smart for her own good- must have gotten daddy's brains!! :D She still looks quite smug- but that's just how her face looks these days!! She thinks she's smarter than me, and I hate to admit it, but I'm sometimes inclined to agree! I'm definitely glad she doesn't have opposable thumbs!!:thumbdown:thumbup: |
LOL...now that is hilarous. Something tells me you will have your hands full with little miss smartie pants, :D. You gotta admit, that's quite brillant really, |
ha! little genius :) My ZoE just happened to roll her Kong up against the curve in the leg of one of my Queen Anne dinning chairs and all the kibble immediately fell out. Now whenever there is kibble in her Kong, she rolls it right to the chair legs to tip is out. Brilliant! But, defeats the purpose of entertaining her for a while, so now I just use peanut butter . |
Haha! You'll have to keep an eye out for that little one! :D |
