HELP Rylee lost two teeth today.......... So last week I stepped on something sharp and realized it was a tooth. Today when I gave Rylee dinner she started to swipe at her mouth with her paws like something was caught in her teeth. She didn't seem like she was in pain and she finally stopped and ate her dinner. Then about 30 minutes after dinner, she started doing it again!! My son noticed that she was bleeding so of course we tried to look in her mouth. I couldn't see anything but then all of a sudden she spit out a tooth. Not more than ten minutes later......she spit out another one. She is six months old today...................is this normal? :questione |
Those are her baby teeth. She'll soon have her adult teeth. It's normal.:) |
This is very normal... Puppies lose their teeth to grow in their adult teeth. You should keep them for her scrapbook :D |
Be thankful they are falling out on their own. Many yorkies have retained baby teeth which must be extracted. |
Very normal and totally age appropriate. :) |
Lulu lost 2 molars in the same day a couple of weeks ago, i didnt notice them either until her chew rope had blood on it and i found a tooth on the couch and 10 minutes later, one on the floor. |

Very normal, at 6 months they are usually loosing the canine teeth (the "fang" looking ones). They are usually the last baby teeth to go:) |

Yes, it is very normal! Sometimes puppies will swollow their teeth, or do what your baby did! Fiona lost 3 baby teeth when she turned 5 months old. Usually when you get them spayed, they will extract any remaining baby teeth at that time! |
