Ok, so far I got a Minnie Mouse, zebra print, and a chocolate and pink cheetah print!! :) Mom of 3 dogs, I had to get the first Minnie Mouse due to the number of yards needed. I am sending these to Ladyjane and you all can beg her to make the beds if you want one of the patterns!! :p

Ok...what are these cloud 9 beds everyone is talking about?? :D I've browsed the forums (to the best of my ability) and I can't find any pictures or info, and I can't get Ladyjane's info up. Is there a website? I'd love a snazzy custom bed for Whitney. :)

I just bought a chocolate and pink cheetah print to send. I will keep an eye open for the chocolate and pink zebra. I plan to pick up material when I can.

Rosie loves her new cloud nine bed. :)

Oh no, LOL Sock Monkey's give me nightmares. They never used to. I loved them as a kid, but in the last few years I get the creeps when I see them. LOL

I bet a bed with them would be cute tho.

Do you know how much material it takes to make one of the bed's?? What kind of material does she need??

I coulod look for some and send her some. Also how about the Cluster Fluff she needs to stuff them with???

Thank you! Yes, I know about the material. It is 3 1/2 yards (all one piece) and cotton. I bought one that is 100% cotton and two that are cotton flannel. Both will work. I think it is great you are willing to do that! If we donate material, I think more of the money can go to the pups at YHR!!!!

I am not sure about the cluster fluff. But we could ask! :)

I would buy more beds that are more subtle and less loud colors, prints - those that kind of fit into the decor of a room. The Cloud 9 bed is the only bed Tibbe has spent any time on actually sleeping as he used to lie in his old dog bed just when he was made at me for some reason. He sleeps and lounges on his Cloud 9 a lot!!!

I believe all flannel is 45" wide. This is a great thread and I love the idea of more patterns for the Cloud 9 beds! :thumbup:

I didn't see any prints that were not flannel.... being Spring/Summer I think cotton would be a good choice.... what is available in cotton?

There are lots of fabric available in 100% cotton. The fabric I am sending are all flannel except for one. The zebra print is 100% cotton but not flannel. The flannel seems to be softer, IMO. There are a few people donating fabric now. If you will tell us what you like one of us will surely look into it. Thanks! :)

This is a great idea to donate fabric! Linda donates all of the fabric and clusterstuff to make the beds herself. Then she works her little fingers to the bone cutting, sewing, filling and shipping the beds all at her own expense.

The more donations that YHR can get to help with supplies and shipping I'm sure she would be very grateful. Thank you everyone who has offered to help while Linda is on vacation. :p ;) :D
