Update on Kayla Kayla seems to be doing alittle better since her episode at the vets Wed. They want to do the x-rays for CT. Since she had such a horrible time and her fever was soooo high, I am thinking about waiting another week before taking her back. Don't want to cause any added stress. I prayed again for her this morning. Please help me pray that when they take the x-rays it won't show anything wrong. God can do anything. We are putting her on a diet prescription dog food tomorrow. The vet said they carry it and its O.M. I believe she said. Obesity Management. She and Lexi both will be going on it. Just praying the weight loss will help her breathing and thats all it is. I know God can do it because He brought back our little Tina from death's door several years ago. He gives the vets the knowledge they have and He loves these little babies just like we do. I know Kayla is in good hands but she is just 3. I want alot more years to have my little girl. Please again, help us pray for her that we will get a good report that things are not as bad as they seem. CT is a horrible, horrible disease. Thank you so much. |

I hope everything works out for your baby. CT is very scary. I'm not sure if you saw my post, but my dog just had a bad episode of it. The vet put him on cough meds and an antibiotic. If that doesn't work then he will need stent surgery. It really is such an awful and scary disease. My baby is 5 years old and I am so afraid one day he will just not be able to breathe. Please keep us updated and I will let you know if any of the meds work for my dog bc maybe they can help you too. |
I will keep Kayla in my prayers. |
