My sister and her husband have never had children, had a rotweiller when they first got married and when he died they never got another pet. So for 12 years they had no pets, no children. When I got Preston they would make fun of me for dressing Preston, my brother in law would harass me unmercifully, then about the same time we got Paisley, they got a Pug. They now have two pugs who go EVERYWHERE with them. They buy them clothes, dress them, cook for them, take them to the vet for EVERY little thing..............:D. While they don't have yorkies, they have found the same joy and love for their pets that we all have. I think it may not just be us yorkie parents that are a bit crazy, just people who really make pets a part of their FAMILY. |
I've been "talking" for my dogs for years and years. They each have their own voice! What gets bad is when I answer for them, too.:D Now, as far as typing...they are learning. Zoe is impatient so sometimes just runs across the keyboard rather than taking the time to do it properly...that gir a;lsdkfja;sldfj Hey dis iz me now, Zoe. Can't hab my mom tewling taiwls on me. I'z berry clebber, so I type berry well. So der, mom! :aimeeyork |
YEP!!!! GONE CRRRRAAAAZZZZYYYY!!!!!:thumbs up:lol tears:lol tears:lol tears:lol tears |
hehe I love this thread...DH thinks I'm nuts for spending time here lol he says - what on earth do you have to talk about all the time?... Ummm HELLO our babies:D So he says - Oh I get it, Alice is the daughter you never had (we have a son and I can't have any more children). My mom too always asks me when we're going somewhere - Are you bringing your daughter? The best is, when my son sees me on the computer he'll ask - Mommy watcha doin, are you on Yorkie Talk? LMBO |
LOL. This is too funny, we do the same thing here. My husband is 6'5 and 270 and he baby talks to the furkidz and he is almost as crazy as I am. He used to laugh at me when we first met and got married but after 6 years with them he has been converted....I am so proud of him LOL |

if typing third person as your yorkie makes a person mad....i wonder what making videos about conversations with your dog makes a person!?!? :D maybe i should check into the nearest mental institute! (with Dexter of course! :p ) |
I tell my Mommy what to say, I got an opinion to! I may be wittle but I got thoughts I like sharing cause mostly I like talking! |

I got Gizmo a new carrier, it's really cute I'll have to post a picture on here. And my Mom says to me "Did you buy him another carrier?" My response, "Mom, you just don't understand." Hehe! But seriously, my husband asks me when he comes home at night, "Okay, what do the Yorkie Talk gals have to say tonight?" Then of course I keep him up-to-date on everything. It's funny, we're checking into vacation spots this summer that are only, of course, doggy friendly!! He's my baby! And always will be! Now, if I could only get a little girl...:p |
I'm glad to have found a place where I'm not considered crazy :-) My co-workers saw a pics of my "kids" in their new dresses and just gave me the "look" followed by "you need start having real kids".... But they are my real kids....lol. So congrats to all us crazy furbaby mommas and poppas! :-D |
