:lol tearsHe will surely adjust! Rosie don't like any other dog being around me. That is why I have hesitated to get another. I worry about how she will react too! You will have to keep us updated on how Bevo is handling it. |

Well, Mac has been in our world for nearly 2 months...Bevo will not even look at him. I still take Beev with me for our usual outtings...try not to make things abnormal....But, when I hold Maccy, and give him kisses, Bevo looks so sad....it just kills me ...Mac chases him around, trying to nip at his tail and such, and Bevo TOTALLY ignores him....We are getting a new pup soon...she is due in 2 weeks....hopefully that will be little Macs new playmate...I doubt Bevo will ever give in..hes just a mammas boy!! |

Boy, we could have a good time! :D |
Hi, I am still new at YT and finding my away around, don't have many friends or PM's either. I still cannot find out for sure when at a member's site how to befriend but can do it from a thread. This is my first online forum except a medical one I sort of sat in on to learn about a family member's medical condition but this one is my only real forum to post on. It is fun here. Am still finding my way around, learning what I can post and can't post, and love "talking" to people from completely across the country about everything about Yorkies. Wish we could get to know each other better but I guess that comes with time. Maybe by the time we newer members all have 10,000 posts we will know each other too well! :) |

They were amazing! |
I don't get or send that many PM's either; so I don't think that's uncommon. And my profile is probably not filled with friend requests either! But I do feel like I have friends on here and on facebook; the PM's and the profile pages are just not something I spend much time on. I feel lucky if I have time to come on and read a few threads and respond to a few. Yorkietalk is my 'free time' activity and I don't always have too much of that. I always look forward to it though! |
I have 15,582 messages in my PM Mailbox....however...I think 15,550 of them are complaints :questione :blush: :scratchhe :scratchhe :scratchhe. I think those whom I want to befriend have me on ignore :scratchhe. No really, I have a few people I PM with regularly, and then a few where we sorta check in once in a while. It took me a while to make friends on here, bc this was really the 1st forum where I really got involved...so I wasn't sure how to go about everything at first. |

LOL....I'll bet at times you are hesitant to even open your PM's. :p To the OP.....see it could be worse than receiving no PM's;):D |

Ha ha! Y'all are funny!:D |

:eek::eek::eek: Wow! |
There may be a simple solution to this problem OP......Ann could forward some of her PM's to those that don't get many and want more....come on, Ann....share the LOVE:p |
Wow....I am so overwhelmed with everyone's kindness :) I guess 15,000 pm's in my mailbox would be worse that none :rolleyes: I have to say that when I logged on this morning and saw 45 notifications I was shocked and very excited.....now I just have to go read and respond to them all. YT is a wonderful place to be and I will take everyone's suggestions to heart. Thanks so much for the friend requests and the margarita invitations....Cathy....I am so in. Let me know when you will be in the area...I have the perfect margarita place! Jodi, the swirl sounds wonderful....you are all invited! |
Well darn! Why can't I live in NY? I'm gonna miss all the fun! |

I was shy asking at first.. but can't be shy here!!!! I really don't pm much. Like said before... pm are mostly questions (I asked about feeding and such a lot - of cathy and lisa) about SHOPPING!!! |

I am starting to see a trend here with me. I most definitely have a shopping addiction for Rosie!! :D:D You got me Lil Sis. It was the KB Bag. Ha ha! :p But you are right, there is a connection and it goes from there. I think once you find something in common it is easy to make friends. Lil Sis and I started posting in the same threads and started seeing the common ground. (Even though we don't want to admit it is a shopping problem that we have!! ;)) I agree, don't be shy!! I love to go to my profile and see a comment about my baby. Just start and run with it!! Other friends have come from when I posted Rosie was sick. There are caring members who want to help (thanks again Rhondah!! and many others!) Or even when we have to deal with a loss. I think the more you post, the more YT members you will have contact with. After a while, you will start to see some of the same ones each time. You can't help but create a bond. And we all have one common bond...we love our Yorkies! :aimeeyork |
