Hello YT Members:

i came across a quote i havent heard in awhile..

"It takes a village to raise a child"

and guess who i thought of??... ... ... all of you!!!

threw my search for a fur baby.. to getting ready for her to arive.. to bringing lucy home and the normal questions and concerns.. all of you have been there to help me out and i just want to say thank you!

i am very happy to find YT and will always continue to use this site for support and education.

all in all.. "it takes yorkie talk to raise a fur baby";)

Lucy is adorable and you're correct Yorkie Talk is a community of Yorkie owners and lovers who are always willing to share their advice and experiences.

I have said many times I would have never known how to raise Sophie Kate without Yorkie Talk.

Thanks everyone! its so true thou. i am really appreciative of everyone on here taking the time to answer all the questions and concerns.

i really felt the need to say this after doing some browsing on here and was seeing a post that really upset me.. the OP after getting imput from obvious concerned yt members giving there advice was so angry by the concerns that the other YT members had.. the OP was soo defensive and un appreciative.. and i thought to myself.. why are you asking for advice if your not going to take it? or atleast be thankful that complete strangers are taking the time to try to help you.. i dont know.. it bugged me a little bit.. (i dont want to say what post it was) but i was thinking even if i dont take the advice someone gives me.. i would atleast think about what they are saying and know that they have furbabies of their own and probably know more than i do.

some of you might know what post i am talking about..

but all in all i love yorkietalk!

I couldn't agree with you more, I feel like I was able to learn how to select a good breeder. as well as how to care for Joey without bugging his breeder every two seconds! Love the picture of Lucy, she can rest easy, knowing she's in good hands!

Actually, that type reaction doesn't happen here on YT all that much.
Maybe it's because that this Site, id dedicated to generally one Breed.
I flat left a couple of Dog Forums, because of Users being so condescending
and literally cruel, just because your/their opinion was different.

Actually, when you get right down to it, there are probably as many
variations on how to Train or do something as there are Users here. :rolleyes:

I enjoy hearing another's "opinion" on a given, but, it's not what you
say, it' s how you say it. That's what I like about YT. It's members
are respectful of the feelings of another. Rare in this day on the Internet.

If it were not for the YT membes I dont think that I would of started on the road to recovering from the loss of Bunkey as I have,nor would I feel as comfortable about the new baby that I will be bringing home tomarrow. I have had a chance to speak with the breeder on the phone and emailed back and forth almost every day for a week. She even sends me pictures of my new baby almost every day. I feel that I have not only found my new baby ,but gained a new friend in the breeder and in YT.

yes i agree. this site is a very possitive site. i have learned more here then in any book or other site. i am very happy to have found
YT and have enojoyed talking with other yt members, reading their stories and getting feedback from everyone on how to raise my little lucy.
