Green1 how do i stop my recently castrated yorkie from running, jumping and climbing????? At my wits end! so worriied he will do himself damage. Its been 14 hours since his op and I cnt keep him still!!! |
Does he have a crate? You might have to endure some whining, but if you crate him when he is most energetic, maybe he will be still when he is in the small, confined area without room to jump, etc. |
the vet said you can crate them or put them on a small leash by you that's not near the couch, etc. they say males don't take as long to heal so hopefully he'll be good very soon.:) and :welcome4::friendsh: |
The only way really is to crate him for the night or two. That's what I had to do with my boys! :) |
Presto was the same way and i was panicking more than him. We put him in his crate and he instantly dosed off :) You have to limit his activity somehow atleast for 2-3 days. |
