Another reason I love YT.com
 
I would just like to take a minute to express my appreciation and gratitude for the caring, wonderful people here at YT. Since I've been a member, I've seen my threads go awry or people accusing others of being bullies. I know some people have disagreements and that's ok but I think YT needs to be seen in positive light today. I had a very, very rough weekend with my boy, Max who was diagnosed with seizures. If not for some very caring, educated, supportive, encouraging people here I'm not sure how I would have pulled through.

YT, I'm so glad I found you!

I'm glad I found YT too! I think I've made quite a few new friends and gotten some great advice and help.

Prayers for you and Max!!! Hope he's feeling better and I hope you're getting some rest!!:p

I'm so glad that your Max is doing better and you were able to find comfort in the help your received while you were in crisis. My heart just sank when I read your original post when you were describing his symptoms. I'm so glad that you found the support you needed right here on YT. :hug:

Amen! Compassion and understanding is what YT is about.

So glad he is improving and I agree. Ive only been here a little while,and found this site after Bunkey passed away. Sense then all of you have helped my heart heal and I have found my new baby here as well. I have met some kind and compassionate folks that have more knowlege than any one vet could ever acquire. We have several older dogs and the information that I have gotten here has helped me keep them more comfortable and to not give up on them. Thank you for being there for me,I look forward to a long friendship with everyone on YT.

I hope Max is continuing to improve and that you are relaxing just a little. We are always here on YT to help and support each other. So glad some members were able to make a very difficult situation a little better. Take care.:animal-pa

Sending hugs and good thoughts to you and Max. You too have been so supportive of so many here, and I'm glad you are receiving support when you and Max need it the most.

:thumbup: Lesley it is people like YOU that make YT a great forum too. I spend a lot of time on sick and injured and health and diet. It can be very frustrating when people do not act for their dogs. But you not only acted right away for Max, you followed through with testing and treatment for him and in my book that makes you a wonderful pet owner and an unselfish person. Many of us are lucky to have your friendship but Max is the luckiest of all!

Cathy don't make me cry! I've cried enough this week for a year! LOL :D

But seriously, you are very sweet...thank you. You know, its my belief when you take in these little guys, they depend on you and you owe it to them to do everything possible to keep them healthy and loved. And boy, do I love my babies!

Lesley I am so happy for you and Max. So very glad that you felt supported and helped along the way. It is so scarey when something goes wrong with our pups. YT is the very best to help and support us along that scarey journey from "something wrong" to diagnosis and treatment.
