Cute thread...and yep, we have one of those "Bed Hogs" too...LOL. We even went out and bought a KING size bed thinking we needed more room...LOL well, Lexi weighs barely 5 pounds and I find myself hanging over the edge trying not to fall off :D

These little stories are so cute!
Princess only sleeps with me for part of the night & doesn't have a chance at taking over once I'm asleep;), so she'll usually curl up right against my back or right against the back of my legs.
But you are right, once I hear her tags jingle & feel her plop down it's the best feeling.:D
I'd probably sleep on the floor if she "asked" me to!:p

Rhia looooves to sleep on the other pillow of my queen size bed. I'll try to roll over and she's like nope! My side!

I've also seen her lay smack dab in the middle of my bed when my boyfriend is over. He's so cute too. He just lets her snuggle up to him and won't move her. :P

Glad to know I'm not alone on this! We have a little routine. I sleep on my side and have a pillow that I have my arm around..well Baxter has figured out that this is super comfy to sleep on, so that's where he sleeps. Right on top of me, curled up in a tiny little ball. I find myself not wanting to disturb the yorkie..so I try not to move. When he gets hot, he slides down and lays on top of my feet! Good lord!
Honestly...I'd have it no other way! Who knew I could love this little dog so much? :)

I know! I love my kiddos so much, I feel like I could burst sometimes.

I hear you. I have a bad hip right now from an fall from my horse a long while back and need to move around from time to time but I will lie still and suffer so I don't have to disturb my little one's sleep. The best medicine in the world can be just lying right next to him and watching him sleep. Those little bitty eyelashes lying against his tiny face, the tucked in grinchy feet, the tight little circle of his body with his nose practically touching his bitty butt while his little sides move up and down are mesmerizing to a Yorkie mom. And you wonder how you could ever love them more .

Ha! I hear ya! One of my favorite things in the world is when he is laying next to me on the couch on his side with his little grinch feet all tucked up, and breathing heavy. You are SO right when you say its mesmerizing! :love:

how about an everywhere I set my bottom down hog.
I get up to go get something and leave the living room he's taken over my spot.
In bed he's pretty good, he has his half and I have mine hahahahaha

I am so glad that I am not the only one with a bed hog, he is not allowed on the bed till early morning, so we dont get any sleep, but even at 5 when he gets on, he hogs all my side of the bed and we only have a standard bed, so my hubby gets half, Buddy gets the other half, my I am on the edge with hardly any cover!

I put Dink on an outer cover, so I can slide the cover over. It's easier than trying to move him over.

chester is and he lays on the pillow next to me and I have hardly any pillow and he has all the rest, we know who is king in my place ha ha
