I vote no. Besides all the above reasons-someone could see her and the next thing you know she is missing. |
When I had only had Tibbe a few months and he was out in the back yard, even though I was standing just inside the back door in the Utility Porch, a car came down the alley, stopped and two people got out and were starting to jump over the fence when they saw me come out of the door. A cute Yorkie in the back yard is a real lure for some! You have to take extra care with this little breed for many reasons! |

 The nerve of people!!!!!!!!!!! |
I will definately be more careful not to leave her out alone. I had never thought about the danger of it. We are out in the country but we do have coyotes and other large dogs that can hurt her. Thanks so much for the help!!! |

I am in the country as well. Coyotes will get small animals. That is why we can't have cats around here. :( They get them. And some yorkies are smaller than the cats! :) I am glad that you got your answers today. Good luck with your furbaby. I know you will enjoy her. |

We have always been so cautious for this very reason!! The first time I told my hubby about this kind of incident he could not believe  that people would do this but unfortunately you hear about this all the time!! People think their baby escaped ~ It is heartbreaking!! This is reported so much in South Florida ~ even burglaries where they take your things and the baby...freaks me out something fierce!! :shocked7q |
