Flat out scary! I would never put up with that, I would be to busy correcting the dog to film it for people's amusement.:mad:

Why would you even want to film something like that? It's horrible..they are basically reinforcing bad behavior.

I agree that the yorkie is standing in a position of dominance. I thought that WE were supposed to be the Alpha of our pack. Anytime there is a new addition to the pack you have to remind everyone who the Alpha is. The guy isn't gonna think it is so funny when that dog bites his face or the yorkie bites some child and they end up with it in quarentine.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He is panting and upset. They will need to work on establishing a good relationship with the two dogs.

I hope it doesn't escalate to something worse.

Am I the only one who wishes the Yorkie would bite the antagonizer? If you wouldn't do something to a big dog, don't do it to a yorkie either. This make me sick, they are really teaching and reinforcing bad behavior. Some day the yorkie will bite, and he'll be the one that's punished.

There is no excuse whatsoever to allow the Yorkie to get away with that behavior. :thumbdown:thumbdownObviously it is all the owners fault for not taking the alpha role. He will bite some one someday and they will never understand why and he might be pts or sent to a pound.

It wont be put in quarantine...it will be put to sleep!! Shame on them for encouraging such bad behavior.

Who knows the relationship between the two & how much prior taunting has been going on that provokes a reaction from the yorkie towards that kid. Clearly the yorkie as no issue with the man holding the pug.

My thoughts exactly. Initial thought, look at that poor panting yorkie..to be taunted/teased into exhaustion.....horrible!

OP here.... Thanks everyone, I was sooooooo pissed when I first saw the videos... especially when they replied that I have no sense of humor...... I'm glad you all agree with me here. Hopefully they get a few peeved messages on their video and it might make them rethink their position..... probably not though. :(


edit: Ugh, the poster of the videos is adamantly DEFENDING his yorkie's behavior and saying it's clearly a normal trait of yorkies to exhibit this behavior (snapping at people to defend an object/person)!!!!!!!!. Go on and read the comments on the video, it'll be enough to get you to scream! I just wish I could strangle people through the screen sometimes!!!!!

I never allow any of my dogs to be aggressive to me or anyone else for that matter!!! Its the darned owners fault for provoking him, but still NO WAY NOT ALLOWED!!!!! Those owners shouldn't be allowed to have animals if thats the way they treat and allow them to act!!!

Then to show it off on YOU TUBE.......completely disgusting.......made me very mad and upset!!!

No, you are not the only one. They've teased him terribly. I'm afraid they've ruined that little yorkie, because they think it's cute. They are sick!
