Ouchie! Sending good thoughts and wishes to Callie for a speedy recovery! This just made me shiver , I cannot even stand the thought of a paper cut! lol..

Do you have any idea how she tore it? Was she playing or chasing something?

So glad you got this taken care of, I've read some stories where the rip was pretty serious with much blood loss. If you are in contact with her breeder, I'd inform her of this, some breeders never hear of any of the things that go wrong, and always use the excuse of "I've never had any problems." It's a fairly simple procedure when they are newborns, but much more complex if people wait too long. Glad Callie's on the mend!

I hope Callie is feeling better soon. Poor baby, I just know that had to hurt.

There was a deer in the neighbors yard and she was running up and down the fence barking at it and it was trim for them to be trimmed she actually had a grooming appointment this morning but we had to cancel it and take her to the vet.

I got Callie before I new about puppymills and brokers and I got her from what I guess would be a broker and when I learned of puppy mills on this site I researched the breeders name and it turns out its a puppy mill in Pennsylvania.

Well, I'm glad you found out about them, and I hope next time you look for a breeder who treats her breeding dogs well, and understands the advantages of removing the dewclaws. It's great that Callie found a good home!

Oh, bless her heart! Well, she kept that deer out of her yard in her mind and got an owie in the process so she sounds like a terrier being a terrier. Ha! They are such feisty little dogs, you gotta love their heart. I hope she heals superfast and is back on the jog protecting her yard again very soon, none the worst for wear.

Thanks everyone yall are awesome :D Callie got up a few minutes ago and went out and peepeed, drank some water, ate a few coconut doggy treats, and walked around a few minutes then layed back down. She is more alert now if I leave the room her head lifts up to watch me and when I come back she lifts it up to look at me.

Just saw this....poor little baby. Glad she is on the mend now, hope they gave her some pain meds....lord knows I would need them, :D.

Poor Callie :( I hope she starts feeling more alert and in less pain soon. That must have realllly hurt!
