Am I a yorkie? My papers say I'm a full blooded yorkie but my ears are floppy. Mommy shaved them but two weeks of standing they fell back down. What so you think? http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...p/cbda1bd7.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...p/19805698.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...p/77ab962d.jpg http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...p/385b4852.jpg |
Looks all yorkie to me! |
Looks like a cute lil yorkie to me! |
She is adorable and looks all yorkie to me! She is probably at the teething stage and many end up with flopping ears during that time. |
Her ears were up for two weeks. No problems then one fell next day the other did and now they won't stay up. She is purely a pet so I don't mind her cute floppy ears just thought it was a yorkie thing for them to stand up. |
Lools like a yorkie to me..... Just with floppy ears! Sure is a cutie! |
It took Pnuts awhile to stand up, I would rub them everyday, and have them shaved! |
Yep all yorkie. Have you tried shaving & taping them ? also they will go up & down while teething. |
Yes, that looks like an adorable Yorkie to me. Don't worry about the ears, they may go up and down several times over the first 8 months or so, but keeping the top 1/3 shaved will take the weight off and help them stay up. My Tiki ended up with one up and one down, and I think it is so darn cute. |
I believe that while they are teething the ears can go up and down also taping the ears could help. I just kept trimming the tips of panns ear's and they eventually stood up on their own. Good Luck! |
Yup! She looks like a Yorkie to me :D |

She is too cute!! and looks all yorkie to me :) |
I love the first pic....forget about the ears, does she even have any eyes? I would be more concerned about that :D:D:D:D. |
Thank you all!!! Her and that hair, I put it up about 20 times a day and the lil stinker still always figures out how to pull it out lol. |
She is so cute:) how old is she? Looks like a very heathy yorkie puppy to me. |
She's adorable!! And she looks all yorkie to me :) I agree with everyone else... just massage trim and maybe even tape them up. |
She is a Yorkie . Several yorkies have floppy ears . |
You need to keep her ears shaved down all the time until they stand up, she is beautiful but looks to have a lot of hair, the weight of the hair on her ears will bring them down, you may need to tape her ears after you shave them to get them back up. |
Cutie!! :) |
What an ADORABLE yorkie! so cute!!! |
looks like a cute little yorkie to me too!! I have seen yorkies with floppy ears...I used to keep the top half of the ears shaved really short...they never flopped..now I only shave the top 1/3....I think she is ADORABLE!! |
Awwwww...how precious. Looks like a Yorkie to me....as a matter of fact she looks alot like my little man. He has floppy ears as well.:) |
She is 19 weeks old. I will have to reshave those cut little ears. Thanks for all the input everyone |
I used this as a guide when working with Nicco's ear (he had one floppy, one perky): Jon-An's Yorkshire Terriers (How to train Yorkies ears to stand) Your baby is certainly adorable and I would say 100%, undoubtedly Yorkie! |
