Add/adhd Think I'm gonna rename Bella. I take her out for a potty break and she'll squat to pee or poo, then whoa, there's something moving, gotta check it out. LOL I honestly have never had a furbaby to do this. |
This sound like my Connor! He reminds me of a friend's son when he was a little boy. This kid would get distracted even going to the bathroom. One night (this was around 30 years ago!) before going to bed, he went to tinkle. All of a sudden we heard a blood curdling scream. We all rushed to see what had happened, expecting possibly an ax, blood, you name it! His Mom asked what was the matter and he said, crying, "I peed in my EYE!" Poor thing- it must have hurt like heck, but it you have to admit it took talent!:D |

Oh no, it's not just her. I have a Bella too. :p I just posted yesterday how intrigued she is with bugs. She goes outside to do her business, then ALWAYS finds some sort of flying, crawling creature to attract her attention. I believe it is part of their instinct as they were originally bred to be ratters. My daughter wants a hamster soooo bad. I told her it was impossible as it would become dinner in a heartbeat! |
I have adult ADHD - and my fur child was named DEMON by the breeder (we got him at 15 weeks) because he was the darkest of the litter and his brother was PEANUT so we decided on PEANUT (because my Dad always called me that - I'm 26 and have always been SUPER petite - ex: my wedding rings are size 2.5 and my shoe size is a KIDS size 3. I weigh 104 lbs; 5'2) for almost 3 weeks lol...then he became Rock Star (in honor of our last yorkie ROCKY - RIP) - but having ADHD Rock Star is also called Star, Rocket, Mr. Star, Perrito, Chiquitino, Rocket Power, and Rockster. He comes to all of the aforementioned. lol. ;) |
"I peed in my EYE!" Oh my goodness that's hilarious thanks |
That is totally Pfeiffer, she's like this: *Gotta pee *OMG, THERE IS A LEAF *Try to eat the leaf *There is WYLIE - I worship him, I will follow him *Where was I going? *OMG, THERE IS ANOTHER LEAF *Hi Momma, whatch doin'? *Gotta go, Momma, there is Marcel, I will follow him |
Glad it's not just me. My sister was visiting last weekend and we were in the kitchen with Tallulah when she decided to wet right there. (We have issues with appropriate places when frustrated or while guarding me when there's company.) That was bad enough, but then my sister took a step toward her and she took off running -- resulting in a stream of urine the whole length of the kitchen. It's ok, though -- I made my sister clean it up since she caused it! |
Thanks for the big laughs!! We have a pom that can NOT sit still, unless asleep. If you tell her to sit,she has to spin three times to the left only, sit and then repeat. To funny! This means that it usually takes her a little longer to get her treats. |

Tibbe is pretty focused on the task at hand, whatever he is doing, especially when outside and he has many tasks out there he must attend to. He loves to graze endlessly in the yard and if I look away for a second, he has found something and is chewing on it when I look back! And it is just a plain old yard! There is nothing there but grass and a piece of tiny limb from a tree or something, so what is he chewing? By the time I see what he doing and get out the words "Leave it", he's already swallowed whatever it was so I have no idea what he just ate. He's not dead yet so I guess whatever he eats won't kill him. Other times, his whole face is buried deep in the grass and his hind legs are pushing his body around in a circle as he sniffs to China and back. He'll stay like that for a full 2 minutes at a time and move to another spot to sniff to death the same way. He loves the outside! First thing he does when he gets outside is patrol the perimeter of the property, running along the fence, checking all is safe and secure, scenting, I don't know what! Then he does his business and then the grazing. When done grazing, he takes a break to schmooze with the Yorkie across the alley, barking at dogs down the block, chasing squirrels and birds, then back to grazing. He would stay out all day if I would let him, searching all through the grass! I wonder what it is about that grass that is so interesting to him? |
