Thanks to you all for your prayers. Mother has been very ill since August. She has been so strong through it all. I will miss her so much, but I am so glad that she is no longer in pain. She is now with all her loved ones who have gone before her, including my dad who passed away in January. The funeral is on Friday morning at 11:00. We are supposed to pick up Leilani sometime Friday afternoon. I should hear from the breeder sometime today. I am going to see if we can either pick her up late Friday afternoon or Saturday morning...I know that she and Copper will be a comfort to me during this time. i couldnt believe it when i read your post....I just got Louie a little who jus turned a yr in oct. a little sister...bella is 13 weeks old and when we took her home from the breeder, she was drooling all over my daughter, and then sure enough she thre up. they get along really well, and she is so sweet but veryy veyryyy playful with louie....sometimes she bites him and he cries! I hope that she stops this soon....i feel bad for louie. keep me posted as to how your two babies are doing together and we can share notes. thanks a lot and good luck. tami :p |

I want to thank you all again for the kind words. My mother's funeral went well yesterday and we went by and picked up Leilani later last evening. Copper and Leilani have spent the morning getting to know each other. I have taken a few pictures, but I really don't have time right now to post them and delete some of the others to make room. These little warm bodies are such a comfort to me. Leilani is napping in a little bed next to my computer and Copper is in my lap as I am typing this. They wore themselves out playing this morning and it is time for a rest. Leilani only whimpered once to go out about 12:00. We had gone to bed fairly early because of the exhausting day. Then they were both up about 6:00 and ready to play. I am about ready for a nap as well. :) |
