How are the straps holding up? Is it genuine LV?

I spent ugh nevermind how much on a Coach carrier and the straps died within a week and my mom bought me (ironically) the generic imitation of it from a certain Pet something junk big box store and hmmmmm go figure the $39.99 carrier was better made...junk material but it held up better I should say...

I prefer "quality" goods not "designer" goods but ya know buying a high end name brand item aka designer used to imply it was quality...sad not so much now, so if this hold sup for you let me know please!

I'm looking for a new carrier in a brand I can trust but so many of my favorite (handbag) brands made dog carriers and they well kind of slapped them together to fill a market need...

I think that might be an anomaly with the Coach bag and I would definately return it to the store. They will make it right, probably send it in for repair. My Coach bags have been extremely well made and none have ever come apart on me but I have heard others who had their bags sent in for repair. I tend to be a little rough and wind up wearing them down (not wearing them out but to the point I don't want to use them) before anything actually comes undone or breaks. My Dooney's are also very well made. I think both of these are worth the money. Michael Kors & Marc Jacobs as well. But I don't think I could make myself quite pay enough for a LV or even a Burberry. I have to stay in the range where I can still take it to the ballgame and sit in on the dirty bleachers without having a heart attack. ;)

Most diffently take it back to Coach or call. When I bought my first bag, I asked about a warranty because of the cost. LIFETIME!!! By chance where did you get your Coach puppy purse? I've looked on the web and apparently I've been looking in the wrong places.

Local boutique, I actually am not a an of Coach, I also bought the Scriblle rainbow suit the same year and it began to unravel on the double rope at the top of the bottoms.
Coach is supposed to be an American designer brand right...it's a ll made in China...I just didn't bother to take it back...I sent my Chloe Padington back for repairs when the hook loop for the lock came undone, and really prefer brands like Gucci, Chloe, Fiore, LV, and Chanel, because they're quality makes it worth it.
I really like going through Avella's (Bag Borrow Steal) for designer items on a budget, but they don't offer carriers.
I honestly haven't bought a 'designer' item since Princess finished off my Nolo's and after the birth of my second child...well high end items aren't a priority, would be if it was justified in 'investing in a quality long lasting item' but I'm not into spending way too much money for just a label...
I heard a lot of people here like the Kwigy Bo bags, but honestly haven't seen one I loved yet either...

Oh! I lied! I got my Coach carrier when I was down south in Sacramento at a store by Arden Fair mall...I forget the name though.

yep - it's real and I got a juicy one at the same time (the LV one is older now but I spray my stuff with APPLE GARDE so they stay clean :)) but the smallest one costs about $2500.00 (which is the one I have and it's MORE than enough room for my 3.5 lb boy :) and the LV one is PERFECT because is has a window on the side that a can be "covered" with a strap of leather that "rolls" up and down and clips with buttons which is perfect for people who bring their dogs into places who dont accept animals in their location (like the mall or in my case - my apartment building doesn't allow dogs so when I bring him in and how they have no clue he's in my 'bag' - which is called the 'sac chien' btw because it looks just like my LV speedy). The handles are UBER strong and vs the juicy one which was about $200.00 it's billions times better :D

Only problem is it has no plush base - which is why I had a "rock star" blanky made to pad the bottom :p
