Capstar flea pill? I just spoke to my vet about Daisy's fleas...and they said that I can get her a capstar pill to take..and it begins working very quickly..kills off the fleas that are there. Its only $5 a pill. Then I need to wait until Wednesday to put frontline on her because dummy me gave her a bath with some Sergants and I have to wait. Poor thing is gonna be soo itchy tonight...but the vet closes soon and I wont make it there to get the pill... ever hear of it or use it? |
I have heard of it, yes it works very fast. I have a friend who used it for her cats. |
I have used them. Our vet only charges $2.00 and you can give them every three days. Last summer I had such a flea problem with Rags that I used them for about a month. This summer I have only used them occasionally. They will get rid of the fleas but only temporarily. |

Ive never heard of this but it sounds like a good quick solution if you have a bad flea problem. What I am not crazy about with the advantage is it allows fleas on them then kills them. My dog is allergic to fleas so having one on him even a short amount of time irritates his skin. |
I was using Frontline last summer and Rags still had fleas that is why the vet suggested I try just the capstar for a month. It worked. |
I have never used a flea pill. So I dont know how they work. |
Ok, sorry everyone just did a search and found some info. on Capstar and how many of you have used it. Since my vet reccomended it, I think i'll go ahead and use it on Kelsey. It just breaks my heart to see her in pain scratching. Those stupid fleas! |
you can order them online a little cheaper just type in capstar |
