Wasn't that just a sweet surprise when you come home to that. I was in shock when I come home to find Josie coming out of a different room then what I left her in. LOL We called her the escape artist. |

I like this!! I hope to travel with the guys this summer so this may be a must! Thanks! |
I should have asked for recommendations when I got Adie. Even at 8 weeks the little fire cracker was able to get out of any uncovered enclosure. She is a climber. She even climbed up the back of the couch one night. (I could tell you soooooo many stories..) Good luck with your little one, I had to resort to keeping Adie in a crate while we were away from home. Luckily we never had to be away very long as dh was home during the day. |

they may chew thru it |
Until I discovered all the cool dog things out there (x-pens & such)...ours (one at a time as puppies/brought home) spent their days (when I worked) in the puppy-proof bathroom. We didn't shut the door, rather used a locking baby gate so they could see out and not feel "shut-in". Radio is okay, just place it outside the bathroom as if there's anyway they can get the cord, they will. OH, and be sure and close the toilet seat. |
I bought the little pink playpen for Kayla when we got her from (I think) Foster&Smith. Anyway, I remember reading it said not to leave the alone in it unsupervised. So, it really didn't help much because I felt safer for her to be in her crate when she was little rather this mesh thing they said not to leave her alone in. So, it now hangs in the garage. lol!!!! I think the crate or the bathroom idea like someone suggested with the gate would be your best bet. Good luck. These little buggers can get into everything. Like they said too, don't forget to put the toilet seat down. Good advice, they gave. |
Hercules can climb the mesh of his play pen and jump out too. He has a pack n play, so I went to Babies R Us and bought a mosquito net that fits over the top of the pack n play and it works really well. |

:yeahthat: and make sure the cabinets are baby-proof-locked. My baby-boy just learned how to open them, I dunno how yet  HB says he didn't do it, Nini was sleeping and I make sure I close them...hmmmm :confuse2: |
Mine never chewed through it...but I did add a blanket as Princess figured out when it wasn't anchored down she could dig at the Velcro and slide out under it...after 6 months of using it though...blanket detoured her after. |
