Harley's got 'tude! |
My three (3,4,and 5) have free reign of the main level when I am home, everything is puppy proof. But when I am not here, some parts of the house are closed off to them. If it were only one furbaby, I probably wouldn't do that, but I feel better about not giving them an opportunity to get into any sort of trouble as a group :D:D Sometimes it only takes one to instigate the other ones into something they don't "normally" do, lol. |
Mine is about 6 months now, and he's been housetrained since 18 weeks with occasional regressions. I've considered letting him have free rein of the kitchen/dining room/living room but every time I start to seriously think about it, another accident. So for now he stays in a playpen. |
i got my porscha at 12 weeks old she was all ready pee pad trained so she has had free reign from day one she is now 19 months old |
Jackie and Sadie starting off having free run of the main floor. We are home all day unless we have appointments or something. Now all of the dogs have the run of the house. When I leave and my husband is with me, Julie and Romeo stay in the master bedroom, and The rest are sitting on the back of the sofa waiting for my return. They have never gotten into anything. The most any of them have done is Jackie once or twice knocked over the small waste can that is next to Mike's chair. All of my fosters have had free run while I am home.If they have not been fixed then I put them in a ex-pen.While I am out of the house. |
My monsters were about 5-6 months. Lily kept letting herself out of her crate and climbing over x-pens (even with a top) so I just let them stay in the living room. I was afraid she'd get hurt trying to escape. They've always been very good girls though. The only thing they destroyed in 2 years was a Rummikub game a few months ago. I guess it was bothering them! |
When she quit chewing on electrical cords! |
Poppy is 10 months old and I havn't given her free run of the house yet. I think when she turns 1 I will give her the kitchen when home alone then she can sleep in her crate in my bedroom at night, I will try that for a few months and see how it goes before giving her more space. She will only have the kitchen and living room eventually because although she can get upstairs she cant get downstairs by herself. |
