Spoil Um Rotten – and here’s how !

I see absolutely no use in having to search around this Forum,
to find/share ways to spoil our little Furbutts totally rotten.
So, I’ve started this Thread, where we overly zealous aficionados
of these acts, can come together and really go overboard with it.

Actual acts, conditions or concepts are equally appreciated.

Though I haven’t actually ordered these yet, I’m thinking about it.
(wonder if they give discounts on multiple purchases ?)
It’s obvious that Lowes is the place to shop, that is a Yorkie in that bed, right ! :D

I've seen a 4 poster dog bed like that before only the headboard was shaped like a crown. Super cute, but never could find it to buy!

I think you would have to make it yourself. Really simple since they sell everything you'd need right there. It looks like a fun project. I may need to make 4 of them.

Even as cute as it is I don't think Heidi would ever sleep in it. She seems to think she's part cat... lol On the furntiture, on the bed, but expect her to have to lay on something that close to the floor... Never. :eek:
I wish she would, it'd look so cute! I've seen one on some websites that look like black wrought iron with a crown canopy type posts. So cute!!!

Have you seen the thread on DYI dog bed? You take an end table and convert it to a four post dog bed. It's really neat!

I'm thinking about making a pvc pipe dog bed that butts up against the window sill. My two boys love to watch the birdies and squirrels. :p

You just gave me an idea! My yorkies can't see out of the front window...it's about 2.5 feet high...ionno....they might sit there and bark at all the neighbors all day...lol

What a GREAT idea !
I'm not sure if you're aware, but, they make a Cutter for PVC,
which looks like a pair of Pruning Shears, makes it SO EASY to
cut and glue !

Yes, the Bed requires Assembly, but...
it isn't finished, so, you can stain/paint it to accommodate your decor.

Yep and I just told my hubby he has a new project well 4 actually. He is a very handy guy he made Friday her very own Princess Retreat.

Take one vintage doll crib (the kind where one side lowers), let side down,cover with pretty fabric, make a cushion for the seat and a couple of bone shaped pillows and you have a tiny doggie couch.

I went to several thrift stores already looking for the table to do this...i have not found a table but while at the Companion Animal foundation' Thrift store I did find a Yorkiepoo who needs a home-I may just end up with the Lowes idea though, amazing when you are looking for something you cannot find it...we don't have a Lowe's here but hmmmmmm I bet the local building center will have the supplies!

Thanks Mr. President for the constructions! It's going on the list! Still finishing the bicycle with dog basket, armoire, and working out the agility course out of PVC pipes (I know I'm so cheap!)...

Thanks I will tell him. I love the floor to.
He informed me last night that he is going to make another house. He likes the looks of a shop he took a pic of from the rennaissance festival here. This ought to be interesting.

My two prefer to sleep in our beds... So I am not too sure that a new bed would even be used. they have a few already. BUt still prefer to sleep right on top of us in our ownbed. LOL .

I showed my husband this bed, from the Lowe's Magazine we just received. My husband told me he would make this bed for Princess and also will make one for our Pomeranian "Ty".

My husband has made our Bedroom set from Cherry wood. He still has plans to make us a couple of chest of drawers and/or armoire.

I printed out the plans and supply list from Lowes, for making the cute dog beds. I will make bedding for these dog beds.

For those of you who would do a DIY with no Kit...

One can purchase Table Legs (like for a Coffee Table)
which are pretty short (12"-18") turn them upside down
and that makes the Four Post, then just build a box.

Found my end table today in my own garage after having gone to several thrift stores. Should have started there:doh: Got some end pieces for the legs for less than a dollar a piece at lowes. I hopefully will pick a color tomorrow and keep this project moving! I will post the finished project. I am torn between princess pink, light lime and south pacific blue. Or I can do all white with those accent colors in circles or Paisley shapes. Well since her name is paisley? Hope to have it done this week. Anyone else got a project to share?
