Therapy dog bookmarks :) 4 Attachment(s) I know several of us here on YT have therapy dogs that we take to hospitals, etc., to cheer people up. The director of our program at the hospital encouraged us to make business cards or bookmarks to hand out to the patients. It's been a big hit, so I thought I'd share. I have a couple designs, the first a regular bookmark and the second more of a wallet size playing card. I made the playing cards in pink and blue for boys and girls. I laminated them so they'd hold up a little longer. On the back of each one, I printed a little bio on Eddie -- age, weight, a little bit of Yorkshire terrier history and something about the Delta Society and the hospital program we're part of. You probably won't be able to read it here, but you get the idea. |
Wow those are great! Such a nice reminder of Ediie's visit, the patients must love them:) |
How clever and kind of you! I know Eddie must be great therapy. |
Very nice Mike! Eddie can bring a smile to anyone's face. :) |
I love the bookmarks :) I especially like the "he thinks he's a husky" one. What a great idea! |
can you make us some please?? willing to pay for them!! I think Bentley's friends would love to keep a picture of him to always remember his visit with them. love this idea so much |

I have a program that allows me to print 5 bookmarks on one sheet of paper. Then, using the same template to preserve correct spacing, I design the back. Then I print the first side and turn the paper over and print the back side. Then comes the tough part. Laminating and cutting each one out. I've been messing with it every spare minute for the last two days and I have less than 100 done. If I ever come up with a simpler way to do it, I'll let you know! Edit: I wonder if this is something Villette does. I know she designs and makes business cards for people. |
