Thin hair on my 4 month old Yorkies chest 2 Attachment(s) Hey everyone! I just got a 4 month old little Yorkie boy! I'm worried about the hair on his chest... it looks really thin to me and his coloring looks a little weird too! Has this happened to anyone else and has more hair grown in? I just want to make sure he is health and everything is ok. He is only 1.8 lbs and 4 months old so he is a little guy. Here are a couple of pictures of him! |
Hello, Since he is still so young, I wouldn't worry about it. Its probably just taking its time growing in. The next time you take him to the vet you can ask about it, but I don't think it is much to worry over. I think it will probably grow in soon. Maybe every couple days take pictures to see if its getting better or if its getting worse. (Its always hard to tell things like that by memory if it is slow changing). He is adorable, by the way!!!:) |
He is so cute. Silk coats are thinner and slower to grow |
Ziva's coat is so fine and thin it is just now getting close to 2 years that she has filled in all the thin spots. (I make sure not to clip the hair on her chest or front legs or top of her head too short, otherwise you can see thru it when she is not freshly bathed) |
stop worrying about your puppy,my 5 month boy max has fine hair and he had his first trim today, the lady who gave him his pampering said his grown up hair wouldnt be evident until he was at least a year old,he looked like a bag of rags with his hair hanging in thin clumps,he's been trimmed now and he looks great.if you feel your baby is cold while his baby hair is growing, buy it a nice warm jumper ,my max loves his coats |
