Ha! Hubby is such a sucker!!! He is really starting to like Daisy..but last night!..... put our kids to bed, then when we were gonna take a shower and lay down to watch tv, we put daisy in her room. Well...she doesn't like to be in there alone anymore!! She was scratching the door...goin nuts! So we let her back into our room. She likes to lay under my computer desk alot, so I got her blanket and a stuffed animal, and set her up under there for the night. well she layed a bit, walked around a bit, tried getting on our bed a few times (its high) but we kept telling her no and she'd lay back down. Well I dozed off and about an hour later hubby nudges me and says "she wanted up so bad..." and she slept between us all night! Didn't move once....so i told him he created a monster!!!!!!!!!!! |
LOL....thats great!!! I am so afraid to let my babies in my bed yet. I am not convinced they wouldnt pee! |
Well, how cute! :) Now you're going to have to have some steps so she can get up and down and not break anything in the process! :D |
My husband was the one who started Susan sleeping in the bed too! He was still calling her, "You little rat," and complaining that dogs aren't supposed to BE prey and that they're supposed to protect owners not the other way around. But when it got cold he worried and worried that she'd be chilled and couldn't rest until she was in bed with us. She knows he cares about her. Lately she sits with him a lot and goes nuts when he gets home. Now he calls her, "Hey, Shorty." I can tell he's fallen for her. |
I know what you mean. My husband is the biggest sucker for our little one!! :p |
Amy I am so proud of you :) Look how fast this scared little girl has turned around and loves you! I just chuckled at her suckering (sp?) your husband and there will be no turning back now! Such a happy ending in so short of a time...yea Cindy & The Gang :aimeeyork |
Cali has spent the last two nights in my bed! There's no going back now1 We have trained her to only use the stairs my hisband made to get up and down off the bed. I put pillows around the bed at night just in case, and a night light. She went down three times during the night to pee and poop on her wee wee pads! Only problem is I'm so worried about her on the bed I'm not getting any sleep! I would definately advise to get steps for them to get down from. |
LOL!!!! Yep they love our beds! Way to go Hubby!!!! Maybe you should bake him some cookies today! :) So glad she's doing great! She's going to love being spoiled! |
Aww, I tell you what, men try to be so tough about these guys but really they are the biggest softies!!!! Sounds like Daisy found a nice new place to sleep!!! Hannah |
When I got my first Yorkie, Ginger, my husband wasn't exactly "overwhelmed" by her. Kept calling her that "little ankle biter". Didn't want "NO dog sleeping in bed with us", etc, etc, etc. Now, when he gets home from work, she and all the rest of them (6 more), meet him at the door. He picks each one of them up and loves on them for a few minutes. There's a pecking order as to who gets picked up when! And if one of them gets left out for any reason, they pout for the rest of the night!! Then after all that's done, he finally gets around to saying hi to me. Good thing I'M not the jealous type!! :teethysmi Suz |

Also, how old should the pups be before they are let into bed? Samson and Delilahs mom :) |
Amy, I am so touched that this story has ended so well. You and your hubby have really given Daisy such a great loving home. God Bless you. Tracy |

My daughter told me of a wonderful new book for young children and would be a wonderful Christmas Gift called "Tails Are Not for Pulling" it is so cute and gives them an idea of what the dog would say if it could talk. It's 7.95 and it's Free Spirit Publishing. |
