Curious - should I not allow my dog to kiss me and for how long I remember reading an article a while ago on here, it was something about older women using some sort of cream and it causing some sort of problem with their dogs eventually because they'd rub the dog or something. Can't find it either of course. And anyway, I use Solugel 8 (prescription cream) on my face. A light just turned on the other day, that I may not ever want to let him kiss my face, and I should probably be careful if I pat him after I use this.. Thoughts? anyone know how long I should wait after applying this to my face before it is safe for him to kiss me, or should I just prohibit that completely. I figured I'd ask while it's on my mind. Thanks in advanced. |
To be safe I would not. Just washing your hands after use of the cream, should fix any issue you my have petting him. |
I would wash your hands after to be safe, and I wouldn't let him lick my face.. To be safe :D Maybe you can put it on before you go to bed..?? Then you can have kisses all day.. |
Keep in mind... It's amazing, how the touch of a Dog's tongue, can change a tear of sorrow, into one of joy. Just in case you're having one of "those" days... ;) S.W.Houston |
That's a good question and something really good to bring up to make other people think. I'd be careful, if I didn't have a dog I have beg to get to kiss me. |
I'd wash my hands thoroughly after using the cream and I'd take the cream to the vet & ask him/her, based on the cream's ingredients. It seems such a shame to miss out on yorkie kisses if you don't have to. |
