Does anyone know where I can find a cheap shower head where you can take it off...

Since I have back problems it really hurts my back bending over the tub to give Pnut a bath. I tried to do it in the sink and it doesn't work that well.. I don't like him being that high just in case he tries to escape and our water pressure in the kitchen isn't that strong so it takes longer..

I don't want to spend too much money, if I can find a cheap one I would be so happy!

Or does anyone have better ideas for bathing?

Well I just thought about this, LOL it wouldn't make much sense I would still have to bend over the tub! Darn it~ I guess the best way to do it is take him in the shower with me :)

It has a connector that fits in between the pipe that comes out of the wall and your shower head, and it is very easy to install. It only takes a minute and some channel lock plyers. After that, you can take it in and out of the shower using the quick connect fitting.

That being said, when I'm bathing the dogs using it, I do have to bend over the edge of the tub and it does make my back hurt. And I don't have a bad back. My dogs are too big for the kitchen sink, so I have no choice. My next house will have a big sink for bathing dogs, so that I can bathe them standing up!

That thing looks pretty cool!! I might have to try to see if it is easier.. I just can't bend over anymore. It hurts my back so bad. After I give him a bath I have to blow dry him too, so that is more stress on my back.. I might just have to take him in with me or have DH do it.

I'm very lucky to have a mop sink in the utility room, so thats where I bathe the boys every week. Actually, we refer to it as the "dog" sink because nothing else much gets used in it! :D After the bath I'll towel dry my baby on the washer, then transfer him to the bathroom to blow dry. I need to come up with something to put across the sink vanity so I don't have to get on the floor to blow dry (BAD knees!).

i have a standard poodle and a bad back. I have a hand held shower in my guest bathroom. It is attached to the pipe where the shower head would be and it has a long flexible hose and the n a plastic shwoer head it's pretty long so itreaches everywhere. I love it I leave it attached and it has a hook thing on the wall and when i'm done I just hang back up there. If someone wants to a take a shower in there tehy just leave the hand held in the holder / hook thing. It really is wonderful. good luck

I have one like this Rinse Ace Pet Shower Deluxe at PETCO and it works great!

I have had something like this for years and just love it for bathing Leyla and cleaning the shower walls.

This might horrify some people, at one time it would have me, but I bathe Lizzy in the kitchen sink with the sprayer and it works great! It's the perfect height just super easy to do her there.

I use the sink to bathe Lady, too. Very easy. I just Clorox it afterwards. My sink actually is probably cleaner than it would be if I didn't use it to bathe Lady since it gets bleached every week.

It doesn't horrify me at all! That is exactly where I would bathe mine if they would fit in the sink! (They are teapots).

I did kind of a "make do" in the Bathroom.

We have a Hand Held Shower Head already installed,
so having the wet/rinse feature close is handy.

I have a "bolster" (oval shaped cushion) which I lay
on the edge of the Tub, which I lean forward on, to
relieve the pressure on my back. (bad back too)

HA, but We had to do something else...
My Female Becca, is a Water Lover 100%, but
My Male Sneakers hates it ! :rolleyes:

We had to put TWO shower curtains in the Shower,
where we could pull one from each end inward,
to close the escape routes. :D

OH MY GOSH!! I am HORRIFIED!! :p

I want to bath him in the sink, thats where it works the best for my, but I dont have a sprayer thing, or I would. Plus the kitchen has low water pressure, so when I do take him in there, it takes FOREVER :rolleyes:

I think my best bet will be to take him in the shower with me. OR find an attachable nozzle I can hook to my sink!

LoL Pnut is an escape artitsit too!! Little turkeys!! One time I had him in the shower with me, I will go in and wash everything, then DH will bring him into me, I wash him and then I do one quick rinse, well I was doing the rinse and he jumped out! Dh said all he saw was a glimpse of tiny wet dog running around the house! He then picked him up and put a towel around him LoL. :D
