How do I keep Lilly out of my indoor plants? So far she has completly destroyed two of my houseplants. She has pulled off all leaves from one of my indoor trees, well, all that she could reach. She has chewed on my mother-n-law's tongue. And she is constantly digging the dirt our of my pots. HELP! What can I do. When I notice her around the pots I say "No" and she leaves them. It is when I'm not looking that she gets into them. |
Put potted plants out of reach or in a room that your pup cannot access. When I brought home Max, I gave up a bunch of houseplants because they were toxic, deadly. As much as I love plants, my Yorkies are more important to me. |
I read that yorkies like to dig and that a good way to keep them out of your plants or garden is a sandbox and burry some small toys for her to find. Make it a game!:animal36 |

All of my live plants have gone by the way side because so many are toxic to our babies. I was surprised to learn that just plain ole' Ivy is toxic to them. I would be really careful. Its not worth losing your baby. |
Have you made sure none of the plants are toxic? |
