Lexi gets spayed tomorrow My princess gets spayed in the am and we have to use a different vet as mine does not do older dogs because they can not offer gas. She is three and a half. I am nervous for her she hates the vet office. |
She should be just fine with a good anesthetic protocol used. No spay on any dog should be done without gas anesthesia to maintain. |
I have been very lucky with her she has had pups and never any issues Been very healthy so my vet is just used for shots. So it will be good to go to a place that offers many more services. I just hate leaving her. Since i brought her home she has been with me almost 24/7 she gets left a little now as i just started working again but only part time. She is very spoiled. |

I know how you feel. I'm sure she will be fine. I bet you can't wait to see her and spoil her even more. I had to buy Calleigh a toy after her surgery. She doesn't even like toys that much. I guess I did that because I felt bad that she had do go through the surgery. :) Let us know how she is doing. |
I know how you feel. I have nightmares for weeks before I leave my dogs to get spayed or neutered. I've been through what you are going through 4 times and I will be going through it again when Oliver gets a little older. She'll be fine take a deep breath and relax. |
Thanks everyone she is home and resting But i can tell she does not feel well at all. I did order her some new toys today so hopefully when they get here she will be feeling better. It breaks my heart to see her in pain. :( |
I'm so glad she is home where you can love her. She will get better every day. How is she doing with the E-collar? I hope she adapts to it quickly. I'll check back soon to see how you are both doing. :) |
No E-collar but she has not tried to lick at all. She slept okay last night shaking a lot but I am sure its pain I have kept her warm. And she went out this morning and laying next to me now on the couch. She has drank some water but does not want food. I hope i see a improvement today. Makes me so sad :( that she is hurting. |
I hope Lexi is better today. Has the shaking stopped? Has she eaten anything? If not, I think I would call the vet and them him/her know. She shouldn't be without food for very long. Please let us know how she is doing. xoxoxoxo |
thanks so much for asking Today is much better I gave her a little nutri cal yesterday just because. And today she is eating a little and the shaking is gone. Still very sore but we are on the mend. :) |
