My yorkie looks like a Schnauzer! 3 Attachment(s) :( Tomorrow Biscuit starts training at Petsmart and he went for his first haircut to look cute and presentable. Biscuit just got his first haircut and it is totally not what I told the groomer to do! He doesn't even look like a yorkie to me!I was sad at first but am slowly coming around, he's still my sweetie baby and I think he's beautiful no matter what. I miss my furball though! Does anyone have any suggestions on finding a groomer? This one was a private groomer recommended by my vet but boy was he wrong! :thumbdown Check out his before and after pics! |
Aww, it is short but he is still adorable. It reminds me of kids on their first day of kindergarten. :) |

He's adorable. It looks like my little guys first haircut. I stayed with the groomer though because he is so kind, but I am training him better and Peawee actually got a haircut today that actually resembles a yorkie still need a few more lessons but its hard to find one that cares so much for your baby. |
They DID cut alot - but he is still cute no matter what - I don't understand all the groomers that don't know what a PUPPY cut is on a yorkie - maybe next time - take a picture of the cut you like ? The good thing is ...it WILL grow back |

Oh I think he's cute!!!!! Next time bring in a picture, I'm sure there are lots of them here on YT :D . Print it out, and show the Groomer thats waht you want. Good Luck!!! :D |

They did cut alot off. Next time give detailed instructions of what you want done. Hes cute and it will grow back so dont worry. |
4 Attachment(s) I think he is darling. My Ellie has short hair. She was rescued from a puppy mill. She and the other rescues were in pretty bad shape. I adopted her from a No-Kill shelter. She was about 14 mos old. For a while I thought they must have had to shave her or something and it was just taking a while for her hair to grow. But now I think it is was poor breeding at the puppy mill. I will attach some photos from when we saw her at the shelter, after getting her home, at 1 year, and at 1 1/2 years. |
I love how he looks though!!! I actually saw a yorkie that had similar hair cut. People thought that he was a yorkie - schnauzer mix. I wanted to take him home.... I love the hair cut! It looks cool.. :) It is nice to have some change on their hair style as we do on our hairs sometimes! :) |
