well I did it!! went to Walmart with my DH and walked in with Winston in a bag!!!! No one notice him and as long as I was pushing the buggy he was fine. Just kept leaning over and saying sh! sh! he never made a peep! I was so proud of him. I am trying to get him use to the bag. It seems as long as his Mommy has him, he is ok. :aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
A lady came into our building today and saw my Kacee sitting on someone's lap. She walked over and opened up her purse. She had her 9-year-old yorkie, Maggie Mae, in there. So cute!:) |
I was at Walmart one time and a lady came in holding her little dog. All of a sudden employees went bezerk trying to find her and that dog so they could kick her out. I thought they way overeacted. I am so glad you did it and got away with it!!! |
We did the same thing when we were on vaca in Dec. I felt like a criminal! My DH just laughed at me, but I guess I can't help it. I am a rule follower. |
I hear ya! Me too. Always need to follow the rules. My DH thinks I am ridiculous. I am too afraid to take the pups anywhere other than PetCo/Smart or Lowes/ Home Depot. |

The first day I got Bella, I brought her into walmart with me. (I have seen this MANY times mind you. I know you aren't 'supposed to' bring dogs in, but I have personally seen at least a dozen tiny dogs in walmart.) The guy stopped me at the door, Bella was 6 weeks old and VERY tiny. He said you aren't supposed to bring dogs in here. I said, but sir, she is my seeing eye dog. He laughed, and said, I DID NOT SEE YOU if anyone asks!!! Now she will sit in her doggie purse if we go to walmart! I don't want to deal with it!! :D But we still go anyway!! |
me to I am a rule follower also, but he was in his bag. It was not like I was carrying him around or something. But I have to admit I was hoping no one asked what was in the bag, or bumped into someone who wanted to talk!! I like taking him with me, and it is good for him to get out. It is pretty here today, air is a little cool but he is with me out on our screened in porch laying in the sun and loving it!!! |
here is a point our daughter (only child 34) saw that I had put a new profile picture of Winston on my facebook. She wrote, "Mom" you have had him on your profile for a few months nows, really!! You aren't turning into one of those people are you?? Boy, she would really freak out if she saw him in his PJ's at night!!!! lol I am 62, retired, and yes I am one of those people!! DH says if she had a yorkie instead of the two BIG dogs she has she would know how we feel!! what says you? :aimeeyork:aimeeyork |

I think it's because if a store carries food, it's a store violation. But seriously, if you keep a tiny dog in a bag and nobody sees it, what's the harm, and yes they act better than human kids in stores!!:p |

True that! |
I've taken Bella into Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, the bank, post office, small town hardwares, spent a day shopping at outlet malls and she's either in her purse or my front kangaroo pouch. Never taken her to Walmart just because I've seen the "no pets allowed" sign on the doors. |
walmart! i'm so glad you were able to take her to Walmart and not get caught! I like to try it , but i'm to scared to get kicked out, but i did see a yorkie at bed bath and beyond i was so surprised to see one there, and it made me feel good to know that they welcomed our little baby's there.:p |
Mine go everywhere with me - in the bag - and no one ever knows. |
