Oliver's neuter!
 
Ok! So I just dropped Oliver off this morning for his neuter and he weighed in at whopping 3.2 pounds! Haha he's soo little which makes me even MORE nervous about the anesthesia. He has 5 baby teeth that will be pulled and will have the microchip inserted in him which I'm relieved he's finally getting :) 2 of his baby canines the vet said may require more surgery and even possible stiches because they're deeper in the gum!! :( :( :( My poor baby!! I'll be picking him up tonight per MY orders haha, just please pray for my little one!! I know he'll do great!! Thanks SOOO much for all your advice this week, you all really put me at ease! :)

I will keep Oliver in my prayer's for a safe surgery. He will be fine and you will have it all behind you. Are they going to call you as soon as he is out of surgery? MIne does because they know how nervous I am. Keep us posted.

Thank so much! Yes they are going to call me as soon as the procedure is over to let me know, I have my phone right next to me on LOUD haha so I don't miss it :) I'm sure he'll do great!

Aww thank you :) He is 10 months old, which I know is later than I had wanted to get him neutered but I had hoped he'd get a little bit bigger first lol. Nope still just 3 pounds lol :rolleyes:

I understand. I'm sure you were hoping some of those baby teeth would've come out by now too. Little stinkers!! It's a good thing they're worth all this worrying we do over them. ;)

Thanks so much!! And YES Oliver is sooo excited to meet Riley!! They'll both be a year old then (well it'll ALMOST be Riley's birthday hehe) :D

UPDATE: Soo my vet called and they are about to start on him but she called to inform me that they sudated him and took a good look in his mouth and he has to have a total of 16 teeth pulled!! :( Is that normal?? She said they need to do x-rays because it doesn't even look like his top canine adult teeth are even attempting at coming in :( I'm so worried for him...what sorts of things did you feed your pups after they had teeth extracted? I know he's going to be eating soft food for a bit....ahh I'm so stressed, I started crying on the phone lol :rolleyes:

Oh no....don't worry!! He will be fine I'm sure. Best wishes!!! You can feed him boiled chicken and rice after and also his normal kibble soaked until soft in water or low sodium chicken broth!!!! He will be fine....sweet little Oliver Peanut Boy!!!!!

UPDATE: Oliver's out of surgery yay!!! His vet said he did great, he did have to have 16 teeth pulled (some requiring stiches) so his poor little mouth will be sore but she broke my heart when she said "he's crying for attention"...I just want to go and hold him!! :( :( :(

Thankfully all went well and I'll get to pick him up at 4:30.....longest 3 hours of my life! Thanks so much for all your kind words, I know its routine but we just love our little furbutts so much!! :D

Awe! Poor Oliver, I'm sure his little mouth must hurt. I am so glad to hear that everything went well and I hope he has a speedy recovery!
