Had so much fun today!
 
I went to a pet expo today and it was so much fun! I wish they had more events like this.

There were a TON of yorkies there.

I obviously bought tons of goodies and spent way too much money :rolleyes:

The best part was that they had a photographer there and I got some pictures taken of Chloe- I only wish I had Armani with me too so I could have gotten his photo. :(

They also had a little indoor playground area for the dogs to play- so she got to run around for awhile.

She had a blast for most of the time- towards the end another yorkie bit her (no injury or anything) which put her in a bad mood so I held her the rest of the time.

So yeah- if anyone is in NJ this weekend- check it out!

Its in Edison, NJ- it was about a 2 hour ride for me but it was well worth it.

Super Pet Expo < here is the online ad- if you click the edison show it will give the exact location, hours, etc.

We're going in a few weeks when it's in King of Prussia. We went last year too, and we had a good time. It was our first pet expo, so this year I'll know a little bit more about what to expect. :)

Awesome!!!

We had a pet expo in MD last weekend, I think? but I missed it. It was crappy weather and didn't feel like driving. :(

You have to watch out for those Yorkies! ;);) I'm glad Chloe is okay and that you had a good time otherwise.

We have a huge pet expo here every year, but our local newspaper never reports on events until after they over.

Is a pet expo put on by local sponsors or is this something that travels from state to state sponsored by someone? I have never heard of a pet expo.

This one apparently travels around a little on the east coast- I think they have stops in NJ, PA, and VA according to one of the vendors at the show- however, I think they have some differences between the shows- the photographers and the pet rescues for example were local so I doubt they travel around- they probably find some local people for each show.

I went last year to a pet expo in NYC and that was much more local- they had a lot of local companies advertising- but this one was much better.

If anyone goes this year check out the bedtime tails booth- the lady owns five yorkies and will show you their pics! :D

Oh I forgot to mention something else- after I got my photos back from the photographer- I took one of the 4 X 6 prints over to this guy near the front that has all kinds of woodworking- he put it in a frame with Chloe's name, a matching mat, and a really cute little blurb about the origins of the Yorkshire terrier (he has almost all names and breeds and if he doesnt have yours he will make it and ship it to you at no cost!) It is really cute! It was just under $30 with tax. You can put any photo in- so even if you aren't having photos of your dog taken at the show it is something to consider.

It sounds like you and Chloe had a wonderful time, except for the bite. I'm glad she is ok. We are so housebound here in the Northeast from all of this snow, it's driving us crazy. I wish we had something like that to attend. We were able to get to a Yorkie Meet-Up a few weeks ago. We miss our daily walks so much. Glad you had a nice time. :)
