congrats on your new baby everyone will be most helpful on the site with your new addition. you might want to pick up some nutrical for him if the breeder doesn't talk to you about how fast they can get low sugar etc. you can always call your vet and ask as well or someone might post how much to give to take extra precautions. The reason I'm bringing this up is because I saw a post about a puppy being sick and hypoglycemia was one of its issues. I had to worry about this as well with my rescue and she played food standoff the night I brought her home..the next day and sunday morning I bent and got her moist food which she ate if not I'd have gone back and got the nutrical |
Thank you all for the warm welcome! Watson came home today and is already a delight! He's super playful and already quite affectionate. He seems smitten with my daughter. He's even pottied outside 3 times already :) He goes to the Vet next week! Oh, I should have read this thread first before posting another one on the blood sugar topic. I will definitely speak to the Vet and check out the Nutrical! Thank you for bringing that up! The breeder today told me to put pancake syrup in his breakfast for his blood sugar... |
