Sun Lover Do your Yorkies love to lay in the sun? Macy has been napping for a couple of hours and has already moved about 3 feet as the sun moves from her spot on the floor. She starts out in a nice cozy spot in the middle of the sun spot on the floor but as the sun moves so does she. She can tell when the sun has moved away to another spot and she'll wake up, drag herself to the new sun spot and flop down. If there is a tiny sun spot shining in, she is laying in it. I think she is telling me she is tired of winter. |

All my dogs love the sun. Gypsy not as much as the others. Puff likes to lay in front of the patio door. If we don't see her, that is where she is. Harley loves get on the back of the couch that is in front of the big window. |
I'm not sure where she will go next. The only spot left where the sun is shining is against the wall where she is laying now. The sun is moving up the wall so unless she has velcro on her side she has lost the battle with the sun. I don't think I have seen her so determined to stay in the sun before. Usually when it moves away, she just stays in her spot. |

Brandi loves the sun. In fact in the summer time when I take her out to potty, she flops right down on the grass in the sun. She's a sun worshipper. |

All my babies love the sun, but Eddie, my last one, loved it the most I think. He would lay out in the grass on his back with all four legs spread and let the sun shine on his belly. He loved it. My two new ones are too busy to sit still in a sun spot, but they love to go out in the yard. |
Ally started worshipping the sun about five months ago. I can't let her do it in the summer though. At 3lbs, she will bake herself fast! Tia is too ADHD to lay down and enjoy anything! Maybe I should have called her Tigger (bouncy, bouncy, bouncy) or Energizer (never-ending energy). |
Bella loves the sun too. I ended up moving my coffee table in front of my windows in the living- room so her bed is on it to sun in style. :-) |
