If Baby Yorkie can't find the motion alarm let me know. I think we have one too. And it will ring loud and it is sensitive to anyone nearby. Another option could be a cheap game camera too. We have property in woods and we keep cheap game cameras up to stop the poachers. I think we paid about $40 for them at Academy. Not great quality but enough to see who it is. I know that our Walmart has some security options too. You may check them out and see. It could be someone pulling a prank but its not funny and they need to be stopped. I would guess teenagers but you just never know. Hope the locks stops the jerks! Let us know! |
What's a game camera and how does it work?? |

People use them to take pictures of animals. You can program them to take so many pictures at a time. Like if someone comes within the range it will take 3 shots if programmed to do so. Here is one at Walmart for $50 Tasco 3MP Game Camera, Black - Walmart.com My husband knows a lot about them. Let me know if you need more information!! |
They also will record on a memory card. |

They video right? I think you can take pictures and video. And the memory card is great. Thanks I forgot about that!! :) |
Sam's Club used to have a black & white surveillance system (they may still have it) for around $200. It comes with three cameras and you can hook it up to a VCR and record. We bought one a few years ago and it works GREAT. It might be worth looking into. You can watch the camera and it will switch back and forth to all three cameras. We were so glad we invested in it because most of the time we were downstairs and if someone was knocking at our door, we could look on the camera to see who it was. |
My son in law is an avid hunter and he got one for Christmas. I am not sure if it takes both, video and pic's, it could be as simple as flipping a switch on it just like a digital camera. |
