Rio tries to bite when I bathe Bullet Have any of you with more than one Yorkie experienced this - while I'm giving Bullet a bath in the sink, after about 5 minutes Rio starts to bark, charge at my legs and even try to bite me. I noticed it's around the time I'm washing Bullet's face - I think he hates that part the most. Then when I've got Bullet wrapped in a towel and start to walk, Rio gets even more "aggressive" (not sure that's what she's really expressing) and tries to bite me even more. Once I put Bullet on the ground, Rio chills out. It's making it so hard to bathe Bullet, not because of him but because of how Rio acts! |

Put her in the room with a big juicy bully stick and go in the bathroom with Bullet with the door closed. She seems protective of her brother. I can't wait to see the scandal Austin will make when Chelsea is finally at home..lol |

Trying bathing Rio first and see if there's a difference. Let Rio run around wet and rubbing all over while you bath Bullet, then let Bullet run while you comb out Rio and switch them back and forth the first few times. Worked with Gracie. |

I don't know their personalities. Gracie is the "diva" around here (at least in her mind!!), so she requires that bit of extra attention for some things...like getting ready to go for a walk, it actually stresses her (some) if I put the harness/leash on one of the other ones first, so I just always make sure she's the "first" in the couple things that being last bothers her, bath time included. I know, spoiled, petulant child, but hey sometimes things are easier just to accommodate them -- lol |
