Sneezing?
 
Louis starts sneezing almost every morning when he first wakes up. It's not just one sneeze either. He sneezes about 3-4 times. Does anyone else's yorkie do this?

It could be from him inhaling fuzz from a blanket while he's sleeping.

Hammer "sneezes" for attention. When he wants outside, or out of his kennel, or to simply play. It's annoying but cute. Atleast it's not barking

My Biewer doesn't do this but my husband does. His problem is allergies.

My yorkie doen't sneeze that often but my shorkie and my shih tzu do almost every day. I also have a cat that sneezes about 10 times in a row. I also have a feeling it might be allergies.

Hmmm.... I would think if it was allergies it would be all the time, not just when he wakes up.:confused:

I wonder what the other reasons could be?

Sunlight or bright light can trigger sneezing in humans (photic sneezing reflex). Perhaps it's true for Yorkies as well. Here is a link to an article in Scientific American that explains it better: Looking at the Sun Can Trigger a Sneeze: Scientific American.

OMG!! Chloe sneezes like crazy really early every morning... like 6-8 times and then she goes to sleep again!!! I assumed it was allergies because the vet didnt find anything wrong with her... interesting...

Bevo sneezes instead of barking inside! He knows not to bark, but I bet your may ne from allergies.

My shih tzu sneezes to get attention and I had a schipperke who did the same thing,too. I've only had my yorkie Belle for about a month and haven't noticed her sneezing yet...

That is funny that yours does it too. I wonder what the reason is?

Ian is doing that also because of all of the pollen here!!! We are keeping him indoors because it is so bad. He went outside for about 4 seconds, and started sneezing. I wiped his nose, face and body with a damp cloth, and that helped him.

I think it may be the pollen or something in the air.. i did some spring cleaning yesterday, like i've never done before :p, and kept her indoors and she hasnt sneeze all morning!!

To me, as long as there is nothing wrong with her health... i think is so cutee!!! :love:
