I am tired of getting my hopes up for nothing Sorry, everyone I am just feeling really depressed. I did not know where else to get things off my chest but here. I have been searching for my yorkie baby for almost 3 months now and it is getting so frustrating. I placed several internet ads, but don't hardly get any responses. I have been checking my local paper forever without 1 yorkie listing. I found one yorkie breeder that lives only 10 minutes away. Found her number and e-mail address on Louisiana Classifieds. E-mailed her, but no response. Called her cell number and got only the voice mail. Left her a message, no response. I went to the vets where I used to bring Lacey and there was only 1 breeder listed near me. I tried calling her, but could never get through. So, I wrote her a letter and that was over 3 weeks ago. No response. Why don't they respond back at all? If they do not have puppies, they could still respond back telling me that. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. All I do is stare at Lacey's pictures and cry. It is over 4 months now and I just can't stop. I am not getting any better. As the holidays are approaching, my grief is just getting worse. I just can't get my mind off of having another yorkie puppy. It is all I think about. |
so sorry your feeling blue lately... dont worry , everything will be ok. just think possitive, you will find a baby sooner or later...just keep looking.. when the time is right, bam!!!! it will happen, you will be bringing home a little cutie pie... |

I'm so sorry to read this.If I was alone without my furbaby I would feel the same way.I know you will find the one perfect for you. It can be very frustrating when you cant get any replies. When you least expect it you will find the one for you. Genie |
yorkie Can I ask why it has to be a female and a puppy? Males are more into your price range. It's very difficult to find a female that low. Adults usually come housebroken. Maybe you could just keep saving your money up. If you did find one at that price, well, you get what you pay for if you know what I mean. I'd love to have a biewer, but it's simply out of my price range so I settled a regular yorkie, and she's great. Sometimes we just have to live within our means, that's all. I saw someone on another threat post about some males. I think you should go down there and at least check them out and see how much you like them. I know you miss your old dog, but you can never really replace her. I think it's best to try something a little different, like a male for you. I hope I haven't made you mad, good luck! |
Hang in there! I'm sure there's a furbaby out there, you just haven't found eachother yet. :) |
Have you thought of looking into breeders in another state and have the puppy shipped to you? |
I know how you feel I looked for one in my area for 2 years bc I didnt want to get one from another state without seeing it first. Too many scammers out there. But 2 years later I finally found one here in my home town. Just keep looking things happen for a reason maybe these people dont reply back bc they dont have the right puppy for you. Just keep looking and you will find your perfect little furbaby. |
Have you thought about adopting one from the websites that rescue dogs? Just a thought. :) |
you will find your baby! 4 Attachment(s) I know you will find your baby. I wish you didn't have to wait so long. I am so sorry for your loss. |
Have you seen this one? http://www.yorkies.nu/? I know nothing about it but did a search and i found that. |
Hang in there . Im sure you will find that perfect puppy soon. |
My mom won't even consider having the puppies shipped. She wants to see them first. And she won't even drive an hour out of town to go look at one. There are plenty in the classifieds in the Lafayette area. I live only a 2-hour drive from Lafayette. Yet, every time I mention it, she won't drive there. We both only drive around our local area. The lady that lives only 10 minutes away just called back. Her yorkie is due around Christmas, but is selling the females for $900. My mom does not want a male. She is so stubborn that I can't change her mind. And she said she won't go over her limit of $650 no matter what. I keep telling her she is never going to find a female for any less than $900. Nobody is going to lower the price. They are expensive to breed and they need to make some kind of profit. So, you got to see it from there side as well. I will file my taxes in Jan or Feb, and don't care if I have to spend my whole income tax check on a yorkie. As soon as I find a better paying job, I will move out because I know I am getting too old to still be living at home. But, the one thing that will crush me is that almost all apartments won't allow pets. |
I've got an appointment in a few minutes, but I'll send you a pm later tonight. OK? :) |
I might have a small glimmer of hope again. Just got off this phone with this lady. She said a man that lives in the next town over from us has a yorkie. And she is due the second week of December. And he is selling them for only $500! I don't know if one will be a female though. So, I am going to try to get my mom to call him. The lady said that he is really nice man. He is an older gentleman that lives alone because his wife died of cancer 2 years ago. I don't know why he is selling them so cheap though. So, don't know if that should be a red flag or what. But, since he lives not far from us, my mom and I can drive out there and meet the parents. And we can see the pups when they are born. We are only looking for a family pet, not to breed. So, papers are not that important. |
