Ashley Nicole Methvin Anderson has a new web site... check it out for yourself.... "Celebrity Puppy Boutique LLC". When too many complaints are incurred on one web site she changes the name or adds another name till the old one is totally dissolved and she's milked all the consumers she can on the old web site. Word of the numerous complaints does get out and the business dwindles. :eek:

I find this article particularly interesting. I have been against the breeding of tiny dogs for a very long time but had no idea they actually used this technique to produce them. Ick!:(
Teacup Puppies– All the rage Bailing out Benji

Omg, why would anyone want a teacup puppy? They have so many health issues. When I bought Minnie, I was hoping for her to be a healthy normal 7 pounder. My late beloved Molly was 9 pounds, healthy as a horse. Minnie only weighs 4 pounds, and she's not skinny at all, she's just small, will be 2 yrs old this October. When she was growing up I secretly wished her to get bigger. It's kinda scary to have a small dog. I worry over everything. If she stops eating for a day (very picky eater) I rush her to vet. She coughes I turn pale. She yelps, I frantically run to her rescue. There was one time (my fault actually) she stole a whole chicken leg (KFC) and ate all (bone vanished too), rushed her to vet, had her X-rayed, she was clean, no bones in her stomach. The vet told me, she had fully chewed all the bones to tiny bits before swallowing, but to be on the safe side I should be on the lookout for 2 days. Well...I couldnt sleep for 2 days, staring at her (kinda dumb I know lol). Minnie is not a teacup, she's just a small Yorkie.
People that are looking for teacup, are they prepared for every issues that may arise? Will they love the teacups with all their heart or just want them cuz they're cute. This thought make me shudder.
I am really glad members of this forum really care, make me feel we are one big caring family. Thank you all.

TEACUP or TOY DOGS are not an actual breed! If you see a breeder or a pet store that offers these types of dogs RUN THE OTHER WAY! I firmly believe that all dogs deserve love, but if you choose to buy dogs from pet stores or from breeders, you are only showing them that there is a demand. :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown that includes from Yorkie Love Affair "Maria Calverley", "Mia Calverley", "Yorkie Love Affair" :rolleyes:

those poor babies they look alien like how could anyone want something that looks as if it could snap in half just by breathing. They look like they would have tons of health issues. I hope someone puts a stop to this kind of thing.

This whole thing has me in tears and physically sick!!! OMG!!! What is wrong with people?! The puppies have huge anime eyes and big heads....really? They just look sick, not healthy at all! UGH! I need a cup of tea....

From what I have read very few of these pups actually look like the ones pictured. They eyes have been superimposed on the faces by a photo editing program. If you look closely all the eyes look exactly the same and almost cartoon like. It 's another way of getting thousands of dollars for one little sick pup.

most of those big puppy places in the states get their dogs from Korea. My friend is Korean and got her dog when she lived there. She was appalled at the amount of mills and it took her forever to find a proper praticing registered breeder.

We have a mill about 40 miles from where I live. They mostly supply pet stores though. They raise all small breed dogs. Poms, Yorkies, Bichon and they also mix them. There is not a big market for small dogs in this area so they have people who truck them to various places around the country. They have hundreds of these little dogs in outdoor kennels. I don't know how they survive the harsh winters here. They are located way outside any city limit in a very rural area. People who have driven out there say they put the kennels way out of sight from the road but the sound of the poor babies can still be heard from the dirt road they are located on. These people have got to be one of the lowest life forms on earth.
