Mscat, is this a "rescue" or is this the approx 5 month old pup your brother found on the street and brought to you on January 17 that you named Emma? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-me-today.html
On January 21, only 4 days after finding the pup, you had a doctor write a prescription on keeping her as a service dog. (see post #41)
You also indicated that you are not allowed to have more than 2 dogs where you live, and you already have 2 service dogs.
Somewhere, someone's heart is breaking because they have lost their pup. You wrote that your dogs would never get out and go missing and that anyone who allowed this pup to get out must not be a worthy owner. Many of us posted to you that even the most responsible, caring owners have experienced the nightmare of a dog getting out. I always said it would never happen to me, yet it did. Luckily, my pup never made it out of my sight, but if I had returned home a few minutes later than what I did that day, it would have been a different story.
If someone found my dog, I pray that person would work hard to reunite him with his family and not keep him. :( | I am beyond shocked that you are calling this LOST PUPPY a rescue. let me quote your previous posts regarding this little girl after you found her: Quote:
Thank you all for your help. I believe this little one was not out too long after all. She looks very healthy , food wise . My guess is that she is around 5-6 months old. I did give her a bath , she was very smelly as well as extremely matted. the poor pup just had so much dirt and sand on her . I also gave her a groom before the bath. That took a couple hours just for that. She has a docked tail.... Discovering this really made my mind up. Someone did lose her accidently , and if that was me I would be devastated.
Just because she was filthy and matted perhaps just means she may have crawled out under a fence or something.
I know in my heart I cannot just keep her. I hope I can bring her home to her "real' family and they make sure it does not happen again.
I did go all around the neighborhood and saw nothing posted yet. but people could of been working, and not even know she is missing.
After cleaning her up and obviously well fed puppy makes me know that your all right in telling me to seek out the owner asap. The vet is closed today for the holiday, but their is a dog pound that might be able to scan her, or know of the family looking for her.
I am not allowed to have anther dog where I live... the 2 I have are service dogs.
my niece just lost her pup recently to a illness . I cried so many tears over her death.
Her family is most defintely heartbroken.
| Here you say that you are not allowed to have any more pets. Also that you hadn't taken her to the vet to be scanned. :( Quote:
Gee thanks a lot. I have 2 of my own that matt and understand this. Feb 3, is only the day that I could bring her to the vet if she is still missing. It would never happen to me, my dogs are always well supervised , and never out in the cold, foggy , rainy day. i just wanted support , not to be critized, would u feel better if my brother just left her in the road
| Above you say that you would not be able to take her to the vet until Feb 3rd. It is only Jan 28 today. :(
I am sorry but I do not believe that you have tried to look for the rightful owners of this puppy and find it very upsetting that you are now calling her a rescue. She is not a rescue by any sense of the word that I know of. This is very upsetting. I guess that I was very fortunate when my three were found out of their yard that kind neighbors promptly returned them to me without judgement. I guess all owners are not so lucky. :( |
