I am new but need help
 

I have a six month old female yorkie. I also have a female doxie and a male yorkie bishon. My puppy is like no other I have ever had. She wants very little to do with me and is always involved with my other dogs. She is barely house trained to pee pee pads that I use for the others. She hates her crate so I use playpens. This week she and my other female fought so bad that I have to find another home for my doxie. The doxie had her neck in her mouth. I am very afraid the puppy will be hurt so I am keeping them seperated. Help.

How old is your Doxie? How old is the Bishon? Do the Doxie and Bichon get along? The Bichon and the Yorkie?

You are smart to keep them separated for now. Perhaps a trainer could come and observe their interactions?

Hopefully, someone with two females will chime in.

The doxie is five, The bichon is two. The yorkie gets along with the male bichon. I am looking for a home for the doxie.

Usually the older dog gets to stay and the puppy is the one to go. But I'm hoping maybe you could get some help and they would learn to get along.

But, again, I've never dealt with two fighting females. Is your Doxie spayed? That might help.

How long have you had all 3 ? Maybe they need more time getting to know each other and live in a pack. I would use a baby gate to separate them from rooms. Introduce slowly . The dogs have to have time getting use to each other. Sniffing each other and such. They need to be closely monitered at all times. JUst wondering if the decision to rehome is a hasty one.

I feel bad for the Doxie, I suggest taking the puppy to classes they have them for behaviour to. Plz don't get rid of any of them until you have exausted everything else

Yorkies are such different dogs... Yours sounds like she needs to be tamed... by that I mean work with her alone and get bonded with her, They also like to be #1 in the house.

Many people with multiples and/or mixed households have to separate their dogs when they are not there to supervise...

Yorkie pups also like to play nonstop... you will have to get her on a schedule of playtime with you, playtime with you and the other two dogs, taming time with just you, and if you walk her it may help to burn up some of her energy so she'll not aggravate the others as much. Any time you cannot be right there watching her, she should be in an xpen or out of harm's way ....

You will also have to protect the other 2 dogs from her high energy antics... older dogs don't tolerate a lot of silliness from a pup. If you get her bonding with you, maybe she'll leave the older ones alone for some peace and quiet, and play with you instead.

Also, your Yorkie pup may be beginning (or will begin in a month or two to go through some hormonal changes, which can cause problems in the house. Having a separate room or an xpen just for her for quiet time will come in handy....

I have had all three since October

I I have thought this thru. The doxie was a breeders dog. I got her when she was two. She is very agressive even with my male dog. I feel I have given her my best and Will give her to a rescue only.

Thank you for all your info. I have kept them all seperate, at times they have all played together. I have two Play pens for the puppy.
