Hilarious My girlfriend who lives in Arkansas invited me over for a theater outing tonight. The girls have always been welcome at her house but I never took her up on the invitation until this trip. Her daughter has a peki-pom boy who is hyper and I didn't know how well that would work. Well no problems with Butterscotch so far. But here is the funny. My Gf's deceased hubby was an avid hunter. Above her fireplace are two huge stuffed pointed dear heads and several mounted bass the size of your arm. Miss Maya jumped up into my GF's hubbys big old lounger this morning and was glancing around her new surroundings. All of a sudden her eyes fell on Bambi and I thought Maya was going to have a stroke. In her best yorkie voice she faced the intruder only to have the intruder stare back at her blankly, totally unimpressed with her prowess. I, in the meantime was at the computer station CRACKING UP. I let her go on and on for a while (I figure it's her workout), and then went over there and got her and explained that the thing is dead and no threat to the household. Ok I guess maybe you had to have been there to get this one. |
Aw! Too cute! It is funny how they notice things, especially when they've been in the room for a time. Might be time for me to break out my motin sensored singing fish again! Hehe! |
Yes it as very funny,,, and it is too late to edit but I wanted to chage dear to deer. LOL |
No, I didn't have to be there to get it. I've been there myself!:D It's always something with these lil one's. For instance, one of my early memories was of Muffin barking at those huge, round bales as we'd drive down roads. Oh, my! They were so scarey looking. Finally, I decided to take her out by one and show her it wasn't a living thing that she had to worry about. After letting her sniff it and see it up close, she never barked at them again. |

how funny -- I can just see it in my mind's eye :p We have some animal mask from Africa. My dh used to chase the skin kids around and they would run and squeall (it was cute) when the skin kids out grew the game he would chase the furkids around. They come running to me barking their heads off but tails wagging ---just gotta laugh (or cry) |
That is so funny. Those are times when you wish you had a video camera handy. |
OK LOL at the African mask game...awww on the deer send off, and if you pull up a camera with these two, they stop doing whatever it was you were trying to capture. LOL They know the sound the camera makes when it opens. |
Oh how funny. I can just picture the scene -- too bad you didn't make a video to send to Funniest Animal Videos. Sounds like it would have been a prize winner! |
She was being protective, that's so cute :) AWWW! Could you imagine how scary that would be for her though, because of the size. poooor baby :) |
When Suzi was a pup she could see her reflection through the kitchen table. The table is all black and shiny. Suzi would go nuts. Barking and barking at that "other' dog .... ;) |
My little Cooper likes to fight with his reflection in the mirror! I had to move my floor length mirror because I was afraid he was going to hurt himself! |
Nope, didn't have to be there, that is a cute story. |
Laughs to cute |
