Jumping Yorkie
We have a 4 ft brick wall across part of our back yard. Copper likes to climb up and walk across the wall. There is red apple ground cover on the other side of the wall at wall level. He can just step out on to the red apple at anytime. When I catch him, I often go over and lift him down to the grass although he is perfectly capable of going to the end and going down the brick steps. The other day, a bird flew by and Copper leaped right off the wall onto the grass. I almost had a heart attack. He was fine. He weighs about 4 lbs. and this scares me that he is so active that he will just take a jump like that. I can't remove the wall. Any good advice? Anyone else have a yorkie who jumps? |
