Need advice for professinal pics 2 Attachment(s) I am so excited I get to go and have professional portraits done of Gatsby by the best photographer in town. Well the only problem is that she told me he has to have his own blanket to sit on because she has to be careful of allergies and all pets must be treated the same. now i have no idea what to bring It would just be for him to sit on but im wondering what would look good Gatsby is still really dark and After some googling i noticed that the most common is black or white for a background. he has a hand knitted blanket that is light blue and light green I might take but what do you suggest. just a few recent pics of my little guy |
i dont no anythin bout that but i was thinkin a nice white fur rug maybe:D |
Most photos I have had taken of my pets have been on black....with the black background... with the lighting at the studio they really show the animal very well...good luck, I am sure they will turn out very well..can't wait to see.. |
I like black you could get a piece of fleece cut at the fabric store. |
When I had professional photographs taken of Punkie at a dog show, we used a red background, but we were told that they could change it to orange to match her bow. If your photographer is using digital photo imaging software, perhaps she can do the same. We also used a gray background for some of the shots and a leopard print for others. I would suggest taking several blankets that you think compliments his coloring so that you will have a choice when you arrive. The photographer should be able to offer some suggestions if you take a selection. Walmart has some very nice fleece blankets in very bright vibrant colors that may be fun. You could also use a combination, i.e. a white fur was suggested, and you could couple it with a bright blue fleece blankey. |
Or some Dollar Stores carry baby fleece blankies in a multitude of colors.... |
If your baby is dark you want a complimentary color fabric so he can have contrast with the back ground. Cream would be a good color and would look nice. Textures are always important because it provides depth in the photo. The hand knitted blanket is a nice choice because it probably has sentimental value. You may want to bring a favorite toy or two and some of his favorite treats for a job well done. When in doubt ask the photographer for ideas of good choices. It is their job to know in advance of the shoot what ideas for the shoot they have. Ask her what would work best and likely she will love to share her thoughts with you. |
