Thanks for Educating Me!
 

We will have loved Bella for two full years in October. She is our FIRST dog and boy were we "dog dumb". We rehomed Bella after a friend of ours inherited her through a family tragedy. She had two small children, Bella was 1.5 lbs. at the time and just too small. We were newlly retired, loved cats and they thought we would be the perfect home for Bella. We took her on a Friday, put her in the car and drove 4 days to our lake home in NY. It was a great trip as she sat on my lap the entire time and we bonded. We knew nothing about YORKIES or dogs in general. I found YT and joined. I am by no means a YORKIE expert, but thanks to all of you, I am an educated owner. I come on here every day to learn. Bella is now 4 lbs. happy and healthy and the LOVE of our life. Wonderful members on here got us through potty training, (YUP, she's 100% now, no accidents in a year) and all the other challenges we faced learning to be responsible Yorkie owners. We've come a long way and it was due to the care, support, frank honesty, and dedication of the many wonderful members that held our hands along the way. I just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to anyone that has ever offered
support to us through posts on YT. You made a difference and we are forever grateful! Thank you.

What a joy she must be to you and it sounds like little Bella has an absolutely wonderful family! What more can a little yorkie girl ask?:D

what a nice story... I agaree there are some really great people on yt... and I am proud to part of YT. One day...I hope I will be able to help with information I know :p

This was so touching. I love your attitude. We should all be so thankful for the things we have and have learned. It's a joy to hear of others who have successfully evolved from complete ignorance into educated pet owners with the help of this site. Bravo to you! :bravo::bravo::bravo:

I am so glad that Bella has become a wonderful part of your life. I too agree that I have learned so much from everyone here on YT. I am very thankful to be a part of the YT family. I am also very glad that I have their knowledge and experience to turn to when I need it. Thanks for posting such a positive thread.
