Some Small & Womderful Progress!!!
 
Please keep all paws and finger/toes crossed for us!!!

Yesterday was a GREAT day with Reesie & Snickers. They played/wrestled w/ NO GROWLING/SNAPPING/BARKING!!!!! Then of course it went back to the normal behavior BUT there were times of actual PLAY!!!!:D:D

I was holding Reesie on the couch and put him in a bed to rest on the couch...Snickers came around and wanted up to. So Reesie slept in the bed while Snick was in my lap 10 inches away. After 5 min, I put SNick in the bed with Reesie and they laid together for 3 MINUTES!! Then Snick has enough and got up!! LOL!!!!!!

Later in the evening, I was making dinner and DH was watching them while on the computer and the boys were FINE....did their own thing, played a little, fought a little, again did their own thing, would come and check to see if I dropped food, check on DH, and again, do their own thing.

SLOWLY SLOWLY IT'S COMING ALONG!!!!!! I PRAY IT STICKS and today they are not enemies again!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes:

woo hoo :cheer: we all told you they'd come around...just chillax sister lol...I learned that word from Ann (Wylie's mom) and it's one of my favs...I, totally, need to chillax, most all of my waking hrs., just like you ;)

I was just checking back to see how it was going and you had posted this. YIPEE....I'm soooo thrilled it is going much better. :clapsmile

See patience my friend....it will all pay off in the end.

Soon, they will be best buds. The green eyed devil is a hard thing to over come....I've had that affliction a time or two through the years myself. LOL

So happy for all of you! This gives me hope cause I almost talked myself out of getting Harley a sister.

Vivian, I am so happy for you and your family!! :yay_jump:You are going to be looking back and laughing about all of your worries in no time. Snickers and Reesie are going to be best buds.

Max and Teddy will be celebrating a year together this month. Last night, I thought the boys were wrestling in the doggy bed under my chair. Then things got quiet, I looked under my chair and they were laying down together -- in a small donut bed!! They are truly inseparable now. :)

Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!! You are all correct, yes Maggie all I needed to do was CHILLAX!!!!:D:D Now when they bicker, we are like....whatever!! LOL!!!! I just REALLY hope the postitive interactions stick and that we see more of them. Reesie came home 3 weeks ago today, so I'm pretty pleased with the progress in just a few weeks.

Things are going great w/ us too...I have to say, last night was a first for this, BUT Dud and DEX we actually playing on the sofa, which we normally don't allow, I swear it could have been an "R" rated make out session between them:rolleyes:
It was too cute to stop, Dud would lick Dex all over his face and IN HIS MOUTH and he would just lay there and take it...it went on for like 15 minutes, then went ripping around the house:D

I am so glad it is working out. I know soon they will be best friends. They tend to work things out in their own time and way. Yeah!!!
