Toys... Curious... So I have two things I've been dying to ask about... First being if you can... how many toys per yorkie does your household have... Second, when you go to bed at night, how many toys do you pluck out of the bed? What is the most you've ever found? This arose the other night when Matt and I hauled like 10 toys from the bed, all in different layers of blankets, etc. (yeah we're guilty we don't make the bed, so Harley has lots of places to hide stuff). So our max we've found would be around the 10 from the other night A count of toys... hmmm. let me see I have no clue but I'd have to guess 30-40 including balls and mini chew pillows... Can you say SPOILED... lol |
My 2 probably have about 15 toys. I just buy some whenever I feel like it or they're on sale. :) They don't sleep on the bed so I hardly ever find toys there. |
We probably have close to a hundred toys for my two... I keep a new toy box with toys they haven't been given yet and then they have two huge toy boxes, one in the bedroom and one in the living room, as a toy gets ruined I replace it with a new toy from the new box. Whenever I see a really good deal on toys I will stock up. After holidays is a good time because stores always have great sales, I also buy a lot online in bulk. I always have to chuck toys out of bed before I get in, but they all get brought back in while I sleep. |
I'd be embarrassed to say, but I honestly haven't counted them. We just decided to store a good many for awhile. We can switch them out occasionally. However, I have never found any in the bed. Hers always end up on the couches in one room or another.:D |
Callie has about a million toys, she would make me feel bad about leaving her to go to the store or doctor even though she would be left with my grandpa and I would buy her a toy and because I started that every time I would go out I had to do that she even checks the bags now. She has a big toy box upstairs, three down stairs (one is just for balls the other two are for soft toys) and one in our bed room (but she doesn't even play with the toys at night when its bed time she is ready for bed). When I clean out her toy box every couple of months she will grab toys out of the bag even though I am picking ones she doesn't play with or take off dragging the hole bag. She doesn't shred or "kill" toys so they will last forever so when I clean out the toys I send them to my moms house where she has 2 beagles 1 of whom likes to tear up toys and then her yorkie rescue who also likes to tear up toys. We have a nice system lol. |
