second nature has anyone tried the second nature litter box for dogs? the web site purina has fir confessions of a pooper are great, i bought the program yesterday but not having much luck yet. i freaked out the other day when chewie slipped under the fence when i let him out, i don't want to chance losing him, he won't come when i call him. he thinks it's a game and races around the house, very funny for him frustrating for me. |
Yuppers. We tried it and they ate it. |
Yup got it too, Porscha just wanted to play in it and also eat it. I think it needs to be smaller or something I dunno but I have a whole bag unused BOO! |
I tried it...and they ate it......total waste of money for me! I have not met anyone that has had success so far. I wish it had worked. Great concept! |
yeah, tried it- she was scared of it- whenever I would put her in it, she would get timid and nervous. I just trained her to hold it all day while I am at work- 10-12 hours. She is fine. I mean, I feel terrible leaveing her there all day, but I find it impossible to litter box train her. Let me know if you have any suggestions. |
I have used it since Dudley was 3 months old. He was paper trained first so didn't want to step on the litter, so I put the newspaper on top of the litter. Every week I folded a little more of it under until he finally got big enough to walk on it without a problem. It probably took 6 weeks, but it was worth it. He now goes in the litter box except in the day when I am home. We take him outside for most of the time. When it rains or is too cold he just goes in his box and gets his treats because he went in the box. If you are patient it will work. |
