Meet Sir Winston!!!! After many weeks of searching and the horror of being scammed, I got the surprise of a lifetime!! I have finally brought home my new wonderful Yorkie! The biggest surprise is he is totally opposite of what i wanted! i wanted a tea cup female PUPPY, Winston is a male full grown 4 year old standard size Yorkie and i'm absolutely in LOVE with him!! The woman i got him from needed to find a new home for him as she said he had takin to nippin at her 2 year old daughter anytime she was near him. i was slightly concerned about this because my youngest is 5 and i have an 8 and 10 year old as well. But i brought Winnie home and guess what!! HE loves my kids! when hes not following me from room to room or curled up in my lap hes playing with them!! Im guessing that this womans child must have done something to him or hurt him and this is why he acted that way toward her! I can find no other reason she would want to give him up. he is completely pottie trained crate trained and even ignores my cat! he loves to go bye bye in the car and is very well trained with basic commands. He will even sit pretty and dance lol! The woman gave me is akc papers and all vet records he is utd on all shots and nuetered, and has recently been groomed, being the untrusting person that i am i went ahead and took him straight to my vet and had him checked out just to make sure he wasnt sick, he got a clean bill of health! So after all this i guess the woman was telling me the truth, I gave the woman $75.00 to cover his current tags and shots that she just paid for and i brought him home! I want to thank everyone that listened and gave there advice and opinions on my situation when i was scammed and i look forward to now being a part of the Yorkietalk family! Pictures and updates of Winston are to come! and thanks again! |
That is wonderful news. It was meant to be. It sounds like he will fit in perfectly at your home. I can't wait to see pictures. |
Congratulations on the new addition to your family! Looking forward to seeing pictures. Love his name. I wanted my first Yorkie to be Winston/Winnie, but when I found my pup, it didn't fit him. Enjoy your new boy! |

Glad to hear that you got your happy ending through all of the heartache. :) Congrats!! He is adorable! |
Love at first sight :D He is so handsome, tell him my girls send him lots of licks and my boy gives him a high paw. |
Cute pic of him sitting up. Some yorkies love the snow. You got lucky. Some hate it!:D |
I see he is a handsome boy! It's interesting that my 1st Silky terrier, Victoria Royal Blue Girl of Starline was from the Coolaroo line and her grandfather was Coolaroo Sir Winston. He had his picture in the definitive Silky Terrier guide book. Congrats on your new lovebug. |
Congratulations!! I'm so glad you and Winston found each other. It was meant to be!! |
Congratulations on your new addition :) He is the perfect boy for a family with children. I'm glad you decided not to go with a tiny... They are often too fragile for people with young children. |

He is sooo Handsome!! You both got lucky finding each other! Love the name btw ;) |
Meet Sir Winston 1 Attachment(s) Winston is just a doll. I was scammed also big time and that's how I got Zach. If it wasn't for the fact that I was so depressed I never would have gotten him and I would have missed out on my little love bug. I guess for almost everything bad that happens God has an ace up his sleeve to make things better. |
4 Attachment(s) Thanks everyone Winston is doing great and acts like he has always lived with us! He took about 30 seconds to adjust! They only problem that we have is the cats!! I have one indoors and 2 outside he doesn't really bother the one inside thank goodness but boy he sure loves to chase the ones outside!! I think he believes they are trespassing lol! They don't seem to mind it much and he never catches them so its not a big deal!! He does have mommy seperation anxiety i have him so spoiled already that when i leave and cant take him with me he sits by the door and cries! It's so cute! my dad and husband dont think its as cute lol but they say it only last about 5 minutes after i leave! He sure is a happy boy when i come home tho! sometimes i dont get home until around midnight and he makes sure he lets the whole house know it when i walk in the door! again i think this is so0o cute and everyone else just rolls there eyes and goes back to bed! I am in Winston Yorkie HEaven!!! |
I am so happy for you! Winston sounds like the perfect little guy and I love how he is sitting pretty in the picture! So glad you have him to love...and glad he has you! |
