Careful or they can steal your heart My father can't believe we let our little girl sleep in the bed. Well last weekend our little Miley got to spend the weekend with the grandparents. I brought the crate for Miley to sleep in since my Father keeps insisted that dogs should not be allowed in the bed. Well after spending the weekend there, Miley woke up on Sunday in the bed with the grandparents. It only took 2 days before my Dad let her jump in the bed with them. We get to their house and guess who is holding her and says that he just finished brushing her out. Miley and her cuteness can just steal people's hearts. Let's hear other stories. |
I call Buster my Goodwill Ambassador he charms everyone we meet. I have walked in my neighborhood for years and had not met many of my neighbors. Now everybody knows our name, well Busters, and people yell out to him when they drive by. |

Oh yeah, been there!! They will always find a way into someones heart;) |
My son has a 75 lb Black Lab and my husband has a 55lb Viszla. They always said that tiny dogs were not "real" dogs. Well.....if you could see my 28 yr old big son giving Shadow kisses and hugs and "babytalk"! And my husband insists on getting his morning "kisses" from Shadow. Guess they're eating their words, huh? |
Now, that is a cute story.:) |

Tell me about it I have 4 sons, and they all gave me such a hard time about Sofia. Telling me she's not a real dog and that they could never love something that small, but now they fight for her attention. My hubby is always saying how she's his special girl and now with Mia, well they have sure changed their tune. My 16 year old uses them to get girls attention, and it works. They all have pictures of them on there phones and will wipe them out at any opportunity. I just stand back and smile, I love that the love my girls. Even my 79 year old father calls and wants to know how the girls are doing and he is not checking on my daughter. He even has pictures on he is phone that he shows off like they are his grand children. These little ones can really change people. |
WELL.... I raised three skin kiddos and always was raised (and raised my kids) that dogs stayed out doors and "that was that! My last kid went off to college 7 years ago, the last of three, and then i got Yogi! My whole life changed. We had 2 dogs when our kids were growing up and they did stay outside with dog houses ect.,and well cared for.... Ok, Yogi began sleeping with us on day 2! I wouldn't have it any other way! Then after 3 years we had 3. They all slept with us from day 2! OR 1 LOL. I do understand that there is something about Yorkies that steal your heart and all of your preconcieved thoughts about whatever a dog should be...We now have 3 private beds, 3 waters, 3 everything. Our furkid pictures are close to equal on our other pics. My DH, well thats another thread on how he has changed with views on "a dog"...Yorkies just aren't your average dog!;) |
When I first got Bella Hubby wouldn't even look at her cause he didn't wanna get another yorkie and have 2 dogs "I kinda said I'm getting her and thats finale" :D so he was a little up set with me...its one of those things that you do and ask for forgiveness later :p Well he forgave me and Bella has him wrapped tight now:wub: and Harley is his li'l man..they love there Daddy:2hearts2: and he loves them. |
